Oh, I am currently compiling a list...

Prospective Qhemet replacements:

Lace Naturals
Marie Dean
Bask
Reve
Camille Rose (from Ave You)
Darcy's Botanicals (from Ave You)

@DoDo @Froreal3

It use to be a lot of Fun! :grin: Like a Huge On-Line Hair Party

My 1st year, I think them PJ's had me up all night long.:blush: We had a lot of fun. I was scurrd to go to sleep. Thought I'd miss something.:lol:

Buying up a bunch of stuff in the wee hours of the morning. #goodtimes

Girl I was up till probably 2am last year just ah waiting and making sure yall didn't buy up errthang. :lol:

Ummmmm.....I like the BRBC but Qhemet, but its SO HEAVY! I don't even understand how people consider it light weight :lachen:

As for HG status moisturizers I have been LOVING the DB Coco Bean Moisturizing Hair whip....STUFF is delicious! Its thick and creamy, but not dense if that makes sense.

Think Bee Mine Balance Cream Moisturizer

HTH's!

I've been using Qhemet for 5 years. Ive tried nothing that compares and Ive tried just about 99% of the "top" lines.

If your product has shea butter and aloe and ISNT formulated right my hair acts a fool but I can make it work.

Qhem is non shea so it really isnt a lot of folks that have a complete non shea line. When Sarenzo beads started her Burdock Cream it was FAB but as time went by the texture changed. That was a dupe for me in regards to the buttercream from Qhem. I only use the AOHC on my edges and scalp because its too heavy for my hair strands

Reve Essentials is has a nice wet whipped buttercream whos shea butter doesnt bother my hair.

I like Darcys Cupuacu butter if I couldnt get Qhems Twisting butter

The Cocoa Tree Detangling ghee , I havent found a cream based product that can detangle and style my hair at the same time.

I do like Shida Naturals Moisturizing Cream and Detangler as well

Yall are making me want to retry some Qhemet. It will be another one of those "reached my hair goals treat."

I loved the Hair Whip when I tried it. :lick: I'm gonna have to hit up Darcy's again this Blk Friday.

Froreal3 Gurl Me Too!

And I want that DB's Eucalyptus & Mint Scalp Butter (maybe). I like Komaza's just as much. And Komaza's is cheaper $8 as opposed to $12 for Darcy's

And this is all EnExitStageLeft fault. I may hafta' get that from AveYou so I can tap one than 1 line at once.

I need to run on over there and do a BF Cart real quick.

:giggle:

Honestly,I'm not a do or die Qhemet Biologics girl. I love the products,but they don't sales as much as other companies. The best results I ever got recently is Shea butter and Oyin' s Burnt Sugar pomade. The two products not only detangle my hair like a dream, they defined my twists and gave me boosted moisture. No more Black Friday crazy from now on. I am trying to get a solid regimen for my hair. I am still in love with Afroveda's hair oils.:spinning::yep:

I am so glad you showed up in this thread!:yay::yay::yay:

That is the thing! I don't really like shea! It coats my hair and has it feeling dry by day two if I am not using a REALLY good leave in. With Qhemet you don't even need a leave in, or a detangler or even a styler (as in the case of the Cocoa Tree).

I will take your recommendations to heart I value them highly.

@EnExitStageLeft

I really must get that DB. And yes, Luscious is good.

IDareT'sHair

I can't mess with the Balanced Luscious Moisturizer only because it has wheat and it is a leave in. I would have to be very careful. I tend to refresh with a moisturizer around three times a week to keep my hair pliable. I may put myself at risk of protein overload. But, yeah I am looking at that DB. I am now looking at a couple of their items from off Ave You or CurlMart.
