Watched this video uploaded by FusionofCultures and wanted to get LHCF's thoughts on the device. I have not straightened my hair since my BC, almost 2.5 years ago, solely due to laziness. I was intrigued that she didn't need to blow dry first and got her hair pretty straight.

Thoughts?

I saw it too. It was very silky for only 2 passes and no blow-dry, so I was very impressed. I just have to say that I really love here videos too, she has such a nice spirit.

I stopped watching the video after I saw the teeth on the iron.

I must own one of these flat irons. I am putting this on the list for :santa:

And her hair was gorgeous :yep:

so its like a maxi glide?

It seemed not as bulky as a maxiglide though and from first glance the teeth are only on the edges as opposed to everywhere on the plates itself.

Seems easier to clean as well. I have a MaxiGlide and a Sedu. I tend to use the Sedu because the MaxiGlide is a pain in the butt to clean.

It look interesting for those who heat style at home. I like that it's less bulky.

Ohhhhhhh this looks interesting going to look up the price now....

Thanks for sharing this! I love her videos and I sooo want that iron. It looks like it would be better than a maxiglide because of the lack of teeth throughout. :yep:

Laila is a cutie pie. I was into it until I saw 275. Naw they can keep that. I'm tired of L'oreal with their amazing products and steep price points:lol:

Her results are amazing, the price is steep, I wonder what the difference is between this one and the regular steam flat irons..... well apart from not needing to blow dry the hair beforehand.
