In hair purgatory
Has any one heard of this line yet? It has a cleansing cream, a mask, a leave in conditioner and a curl definer. I only bought the curl definer but i may try leave in too.

Everybody seems to be hopping on the natural chain!

What?! NOOOOOOOO!!!!
Aphogee's 2 Min Keratin Reconstructor is one product I will always keep in my stash even if I'm just down to using water and oil on my hair . And the Provitamin spray is one of the only leave-in sprays my hair actually likes.

If I see this in the store, I might be suddenly overtaken by my former PJ ways :lachen:.

Errbody jumping on the natural curls bandwagon, wow. If it's not by a black owned company, I get immediately suspicious about the product since I get the impression it's a marketing tactic.

Soft-sheen & Carson (the owners of Dark & Lovely, etc) are having a relaxer campaign on why you love your relaxed hair. Smdh... They really need ppl to want relaxers. Their sales r going down.

so far I actually like it. It lays down my hair like a dream! There is a nice fresh scent too. I think i might try using the whole line

I love their product line. I don't usually say that about a whole product line but theirs does exactly what it says on the tin. What more can you ask?

I dont actually use curl products. At least not to define curls (I ain't got any). But if i were looking to try a new moisturiser i may give this a chance.

I've tried the texture tx... I gave this a side eye when it came out seems like everyone is jumping on that "curls/natural" ship...But this stuff is nice. Its very thick, creamy, and smooths my hair like nobody business. In a moisturizing way of saying smooth...:yep:

Cutenss raved about it and I picked up a jar out of curiosity during the bogo...I only used once but I like it. I will say that although it smells nice it is a little "perfumey" to me but the scent sorta dissipates. I'm a little sensitive to some fragrances.

But the performance alone is amazing! I'm thinking of picking up the other products more specifically the texture wash and leave in.

I saw the Curlific texture treatment today...it was like $11. I didn't feel like spending that kind of money so I passed. I will continue my Henna journey instead and venture into Curlific later. I'm trying to use up stuff that I have before I pile on more products in my bathroom.

(ummm, off the record, I did pick up 2 new products today though:sekret:)

This stuff is AWE-SOME :yep: The texture wash is just...SMDH good. I love it so much. It is rich and creamy. It has a smooth feeling. It smooths my "always trying to be frizzy natural strands" And the Texture Treatment, with my steamer, you betta hush yo mouth. Curls be like POW. I just bought the Moisture Leave In and the Gel that goes with, but I have yet to try them. But if that are anything like their counterparts, then winner, winner :yay:

Aphogee has always had excellent hair products, so the fact that they came up with this line, for "us" girls, I think its great. And they definitely hit a home run. At least with me and my hair. And if you buy it at Sallys, and don't like it, you can return it. But you won't :)

This stuff is bomb.com, but Aphogee products have already withstood the test of time with me. Here is the thing: If they can come out with a detailed line that actually performs as it should, then everyone else can as well, if they cared enough. There is no reason for these big companies to be putting out sucky products that are geared towards natural hair textures.

The texture of the leave in is similar to It's a 10 Miracle leave in, but it works way better for my hair! I have a leave out section of my weave, and it feels perfect! Like freshly bc'd hair!!! Lawd!

I have been using it on my braided up hair underneath as well. It honestly does its job. I have not tried the mask, but I have no doubt that it will be awesome. I did not get it, as I have Bask Vanilla Whiskey Reparative Hair Soak, and that has quinoa protein as well. I did not want to go overboard with the protein. I'll try this mask when my BASK runs out.

I love the curlific leave in I am natural with a mix of both high and low porosity strands and the leave in provides strength and moisture to my strands and helps with long moisture retention which my high po strands need! And I Love the DC it penetrates the strands nicely if and only I I use heat with it...the DC has nice slip and I like the smell it's VERY thick and applies smoothly which allows me to get at least 4 uses out of the 8oz jar and I have past bsl length thick hair!

I absolutely LOVE the result that I got from the Aphogee Curlific Texture Treatment. WOW, I saw Mo Knows Hair using it on a 4b/4c natural and I love the elasticity that it gave her. I only used it once so far, but I did notice a difference in how my hair felt. Since my hair is in bad shape after months of protective styling, I plan to use this weekly until my hair picks up some strength. I'll be monitoring my hair's response to this product moving forward.

I read a lot of reviews of ppl complaining about the scent...I was surprised that I didn't mind it all. (it reminds me of a perfume I've smelled before, lol)

I really like this product line...initially, the scent is overwhelming, but I'm used to it now. I'm hard on products with scents Lol..but I prefer the treatment mask and I love love the leave in...it's has the texture of It's a 10 leave in but minus the price. I kinda went overboard when Sally's had bogo :look:

Now the shampoo in this line is not my favorite (I just might need to revisit)

The leave in is very moisturizing and provides strength at the same time. Its more than just moisturizing...it leaves the hair hydrated. I love that the LI is in a spray bottle but comes out kind of creamy. My hair really likes it!

Have the masque in my stash but haven't tried yet. Yes, I am a product junkie :hangs head:

I LOVE this HHJ!!

I use the deep conditioner as me pre deep condition.

Oil

Shampoo
Protien*

I like it, makes my hair juicy and helps loosen tangles.

Well, slap my empty pockets! I have never heard of this line from Aphogee. I hear the pj in me whispering lol. I'm going to see if this is available in my city. The Midwest can be rough sometimes when it comes to new products.

I haven't tried it yet but Moknowshair got me wanting to try it. She suggested it for elasticity and I have a section of my hair that doesn't curl up as good as the rest of my hair
