I was dada as a child.... My brother was dada too... I thought my parents decided to not deal with my 4z hair .. lol... They cut it off when I turned 1...

I wish I could let it grow out without feeling judged as a parent. Once we went to the CVS and his hair was way over due for a cut (mind you I had brushed it before we left the house), and the cashier (young AA chick) who was ringing us up had the nerve to address my eight year old "Wow, you forgot to brush your hair huh sweetie". I look at him and sure enough the little 'peas' had started reconnecting already.

She still still got the stink eye for being too nosy...

She would have gotten more than the stink eye from me. I swear SOME aa's need to work on their hair hatred issues.
