I want to start this Weekend by Thanking ALL the Ladies of the LHCF for All the Love and All the Wonderful things you do on a daily basis.

For Your Families, Your Friends on Your Jobs/Schools on this Board and just the incredible ways you personally have Touched the Lives of others.

So be Kind this Weekend and do something Nice for Somebody.

Meanwhile....what will You Do this Weekend to Nurture & Nourish that Beautiful Hair of Yours?????

Sat under steamer with Joico Moisture Recovery Balm mixed with honey, wash and conditioner with Joico Moisture Recovery shampoo and conditiner. Rollerset with Nioxin Thermal bliss, Nene's Secret leave in conditioners and Paul Mitchell Super skinny serum. Sat under dryer for 30 minutes and air dry over night. Flat iron roots in the Am, fluff curls and go.
 
Pulling out my twists, wash and deep condition, testing a flat iron to see if my hair will stay straight without a relaxer ummmmm that's it.
 
Going to do my first ever henna treatment...we'll see how that goes:look:

Will steam and DC and cowash this weekend.
 
Pre-poo with Coconut oil and the Power of the Poo
Shampoo with KeraCare Detangling Shampoo
Apply Coffee
DC with Mizani Moisturefuse under steam for 30 mins.
Apply tea, leave-ins and air dry
 
Prepoo using Dabur Vatika Oil

Chelate using Elucence Moisture Acidifying Shampoo, follow up with CON Argan Oil Shampoo

Do a reconstructive treatment using Mill Creek Botanicals Biotin Conditioner

DC w/ my tea blend and Sallys GVP Conditioning Balm

Apply leave ins, air dry using the banding method...
 
Leaving my hair alone. Stretching wash days to biweekly. I'll be moisturizing and sealing my ends heavily until next week.
 
Today,i detangle my hair,doing a pre with Kera Brahmi have 5 braids,later I'll wash/Dc

Saturday - trying to get color run paint out of my hair

Sunday - making sure all the paint is out my hair
 
I'm attempting to install some thick loose senegalease style twists. I'm scared I will run out of hair or the ends will look ratty or something crazy

Currently doing an Overnight in: KeraVada's Green Tea Hair Oil

Tomorrow a.m. I Will:
Cowash with Hairveda's Acai Phyto Berry Conditioner
Do a quick reconstructor with AG Reconstructor under dryer no Plastic Cap
Steam with Marie Dean Coffee DC'er under Coffee
ACV Rinse
Tea/Leave-In/Oil
Dry under dryer

this inspired me to try the henna that i have in my bathroom. maybe i will try it this weekend or at least sooner than later :)
 
- prepoo with bco with pimento oil in the scalp avocado oil at the lengths
- shampoo with keracare detangling poo
- cover greys with Sebastian cellophane colour
- dc with a mix conditioner
- moisturise with a mix of leave ins. Seal with BJCO.
- use curlformers
 
Took out my old braids and did an overnight henna treatment.

1/2 pack (250 grams) henna
1 cup apple cider vinegar
Cinnamon (for fragrance)
Cloves (for fragrance)
Water (for consistency)


Henna on hair:

Rinsed with water.

Cowashed with VO5 strawberries and cream (moisture milks)

And then again... Until the bottle was empty. :-D

Then I DC'd with my yogurt mix

1 c. yogurt powder or whole/coconut milk powder
.5 c. Egg yolk or whole egg powder
.5 c. honey powder
.25 c. keratin powder
.25 c. Royal jelly powder
2 T sea kelp powder
2 T silk peptide powder
1 t aloe leaf x100 powder
Whisk dry ingredients together until fully incorporated.

Add in wet ingredients:
1 c. Coconut oil
.5 c. Olive oil
.25 c. Aloe Vera juice
.5 t carrot seed oil
7 drops rosemary
6 drops thyme or basil
5 drops peppermint
Water, as needed to reach desired consistency.

And left it in under a plastic bag for four hours while I went to the farmer's market.

I rinsed it out with cool water

Applied my leave-in mix

.5 part botanicals, essentials, glycerin
.5 part mango + cocoa butter
1 part aloe vera juice
1 part coconut oil
1 part mixed oils
3 parts distilled water
3 parts conditioner (I use VO5)
Fragrance (optional)




And sealed with my shea butter mix

3 c. shea butter, softened
1.5 c. coconut oil
1 c. mango butter
.5 c. murumuru butter
.5 c. cupuacu butter
.5 c. olive oil
.25 c. almond oil
.25 c. apricot kernel oil
.25 c. castor oil
.25 c. grapeseed oil
.25 c. jojoba oil
.25 c. safflower oil
.25 c. vegetable glycerin
2 T argan oil
2 T babassu oil
1 T coffee oil
1 T vitamin e
1 t tea tree oil
10 drops basil oil
10 drops lavender oil
10 drops rosemary oil
Fragrance (optional)



I'll put in 8-12 2-strand twists and band overnight to dry.
