Not sure if this was posted yet, but has anyone seen the new iron on Folica? One side is ceramic and the other side is fabric. It supposedly keeps your hair from getting heat damaged.....sounds a Lil suspect but I can't lie, I'm a Lil curious. What do you ladies think? Yeah or nay? I'm not very savvy with these URL attachments but if you look on Folica's website it's called the Ferrum Professional Hair Styler.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Flat Iron August 20, 2013

I love this flat iron. It is very different from any flat iron I have owned in the past as it does not give you a stick straight look but rather more body. It is essentially a blown out look made easier with a flat iron. Just make sure the logo is closest to you when ironing as I have found this gives the best results.

A flat iron that doesn't actually straighten hair seems like a waste; if I had relaxed hair I might give it a go, but I'm sure my natural hair would laugh at the Ferrum.

I've heard of this. If you have a regular flat-iron, all you have to do is wrap some non flammable fabric around one side and voila. Magic.

I should try this first before investing in this iron, I'm in the market for a new one. Anyway, just watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCzWW07nYis

Did anyone ever try this iron?

She also used the iron on what appears to be a coarser transitioning head as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKK7VQzcURA
