Do you like drawn up curls when roller settings?

Or when you do flexi rods? I like it because it lasts longer. I feel when it hangs past my jaw it will last a day or two so i put enough lottabody and roll it as tight as i can and just wait day by day for it to fall. SO doesn't because like most men they want length on their woman's hair and he said I look like Ethel off I love Lucy lol because its drawn up like to half my ear when my hair is a little past apl but i say screw him. My curls on point, a nice natural shine from my coconut oil and oh so healthy which I think that is all that matters. Any other Ethel hair wearers? lol

I haven't worn that style in a while. Just takes way too long to get the hair set to sweat it out because of the Florida heat or working out. I would rock it for a nice formal event but for day to day wear -- :nono:

Im in AZ with dry heat and can reach 120. I can do my hair in like ten minutes with four flexi rods and look like i used many rollers and air dry with satin scarf or silk scarf and wake up with fresh curls divachyk

Lilmama1011 I prefer bigger and longer hair. So even when I flexi, I comb it out so it has some thickness. Once my hair is BSL of longer I'll wear my sets as is (just break them a part a bit).

Lilmama1011,
We have moist heat. That may make a difference although I'm not 100% on that. I'm familiar with dry heat's effects on skin. :spinning:. Vacationed in that climate several times. I wore a bun each time so I'm unsure of the long-term effects of dry heat on hair.

I was thinking of super tight curls set with a lot of rods like how a salon would do it.
