What are you ladies using as a daily moisturizer? I'm trying the S curl activator, is anyone using this.

I'm waiting on my Califia Moisturizing spray from Komaza Hair Care.
I plan to dilute it at least 50/50 with spring water.

A lot of people are using the s curl activator though, I haven't been tempted to use it though, I like more of a creamy moisturizer and not a watery one even thought it would make a difference because i reset my hair with my shea moisture coconut and hibiscus shine mist everyday and moisturize with the one i listed above and seal with a oil or butter

I dunno if it counts as a moisturiser but i ust use coconut oil. It works well
Water-based moisturisers just make my hair shrink up and make deetangling more difficult :-/....Unless my hair is cornrowed, then I used a spritz of some kind

Yeah I like cream moisturizers too I have some from Cantu its a leave in conditioner I love it, I wanted to try something new. So today was my first day with s curl spray

I also alternate between cantu grow strong strengthening treatment, SO brought it, not something i would buy but i hate having things sit there and go to waste so when I do a moisturizing conditioner i use the cantu to put some strength in my hair and when I do a protein treatment i use the curl and style milk for added moisture. That way i have a moisture and protein balance

I usually use a creamy lotion type like Hairveda Whipped Cream Ends Hydration or Hairitage Hydration Soft Coconut Marshmallows. I also bought Scurl to try as a spray leave in.

Maybe im not using them right but my hair doesn't seem to like liquid moisturizers...i use SM Curl Enhancing Smoothie...i use it as a leave in and i use it to remoisturize my bun if im not going to co wash that day.

Its weird bc i spray water on my hair first before i put it on...but i guess the liquid moisturizers dont have the weight i look for in moisturizers.

I have been wanting to try that SM curly/shine spray tho.

I use Scurl when I first wash my hair but I use Elasta QP Olive Oil and Mango butter daily on my dry hair. Its a creamy moisturizer I like it.

Like @cheerrette said, I use S Curl after I wash too but after I put my leave-in (Cantu Shea Butter) or when have cornrows under a wig. It seeps into the cornrows. When not in cornrows, I use Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter moisturizer because I'm transitioning (it works wonders on NG!!!). I just bought the Pudding & Leave-in by Elasta QP as well which I've been alternating daily on my ends before I put my phony pony on as well. I love Elasta QPs line!

I've tried S-Curl and it's super moisturizing but the scent is not my favourite for some reason and I find it builds up easily. I would probably try my own mix of water + glycerin before I revisit it. The creamy moisturizer I absolutely love is NTM Silk Touch leave-in cream. As for a liquid/spray moisturizer, Komaza Califia is great, extremely moisturizing (the moisture stays even after the product dries, and the product is pretty good with building on itself - meaning it can be used every day for a week and at the end of the week hair feels moisturized rather than build-uppy. also makes a good detangler). So I layer these two when moisturizing w/ LCO method for a perfect combo.

Yeah I have the mango butter but I think I like the old formula better. Cantu I love, and it smells good to me.

coconifah, yes and love it!!! I like my S Curl diluted as it takes away the sticky feeling.

I didnt like the smell of s curl either. I made my own spray of glycerin + rose water + avgel + silk amino acid powder + Vitamin E oil. I love to seal this in when wearing curly or wavy styles with oil.

For creamy moisturizers I like the komazacare hair growth milk, elasta qp, shea moisture restorative conditioner or nubian heritage custard.
