You're tempting me Dove56  beautiful hair!!

Can I start doing keratin treatments whenmy hair is already relaxed? I am not bone straight ( you know us 3's can't get bone straight very often ) .
I will say the lye relaxer has kept my hair in amazing shape :yep:
it's almost as though I never did it damage wise...
idk what to do, i don't want any disasters .

Thanks girlie!

That's right, lol, 3's do have a hard time getting bone straight hair with a relaxer! I wouldn't do a keratin treatment over a relaxer I would transition from a relaxer THEN do keratin treatments. In the photo I posted above I used a lye relaxer from Mizani. :yep: The only no-lye relaxer I love is ORS.

Well, I certainly wouldn't risk any disasters, if you aren't comfortable with it don't do it it's not worth it. Maybe just do a test area and check the integrity of your hair. I personally, LOVE Zoe Saldana's hair color love, love, love it.

I'm not doing it
I can't put my hair at risk like that, my self esteem would suffer if my hair broke off. My hair may be very dark brown but at least it's, long, strong, and on my head . I like having deeply colored hair anyway, I think it makes me stand out against of see of naturally light and dyed hair...
I may try a rinse for some depth or maybe henna. I just hate how flat my color looks when my hair is curly...
Or I may even do highlights in deep brown, but I just cannot dye all my hair...
Thanks for all the help though guys and this thread can help assist others who are curious...

eta:
why am i still thinking about doing it?? :nono:
I need help, this pms  seriously

I think that's a great idea, highlights are safer and will still give you dimension. :yep:

Yes, that's the kind of brown I'm trying to go up to!! That's a good example, ugh super tempted!!!

@Arlana

I love that color, OMG, it is perfect. That is the perfect shade!

It's not worth damage but it is gorgeous! :yep:

Dove56 any ideas on how to best achieve something very similar on naturally off black hair? or do you think a salon would be my best bet? I love how there's no orange or red in it...

Honestly, I would go to a salon and use a master level colorist. That color is about a level 4 or 5 if you are a level 2 naturally you are in the safe range of 3 levels or shades.

I think her color is perfect for the same reason. It's so neutral with more of an ash tint instead of red. I love, love, love it!
