I was relaxing my hair, as I was rinsing out the relaxer there was blood in the tub and my hair was falling out!!! What could this mean, I'm really loving my hair at the moment this is the best its ever looked.

Am I worrying for no reason?

Maybe because u are loving ur hair si much right now ur subconsciously worried about something going wrong. Lol hell I dunno but that dream is crazy

Sent from my S3 using LHCF

Maybe it's a sign that relaxers aren't good for you and you need to let them go?? I take dreams serious so when I hear stuff like this I get for real. Maybe relaxers are affecting your health in way you do not know of right now. I say transition and let that poison go.

Maybe I should look into BKT again, I was thinking of doing this on top of my relaxer now maybe I should look to do it instead.

Thanks

No no no..........BKT has been known to take people's hair out. I have read where women have lost hair from this and had to have scalp injections to get things back on track...........ouch. Maybe your dream is warning you not to do this.

?? Really!! I was going to buy a kit and do it for my birthday next week, maybe it was warning me against it, I only just relaxed 2weeks ago so i have some time to think.

I went to dream moods to search the symbols of your dream:

Blood
To dream that you are bleeding or losing blood signifies that you are suffering from exhaustion or that you are feeling emotionally drained. It may also denote bitter confrontations between you and your friends. Your past actions has come back to haunt you. Women often dream of blood or of someone bleeding, shortly before or during their periods or while they are pregnant.

Shower
To dream that you are taking a shower in clear, fresh water symbolizes spiritual or physical renewal and forgiveness. You are washing the burdens out of your life.

Losing Hair
To dream that you are losing your hair denotes that you are concerned with the notion that you are getting older and losing your sex appeal and virility. You are preoccupied with aging and your appearance. Losing your hair also signifies a lack of strength; you do not have the power to succeed in an undertaking. You may be feeling weak and vulnerable.

Does any of this make sense for you, OP? I might take from this that your hair is making you tired. It might be more of a burden than you really want to deal with, and you don't really feel like you'll be able to keep up with your hair. Now, it's possible that this makes no sense for you and that the dream wasn't about hair at all. HTH.

:perplexed :perplexed :ohwell: :ohwell: Really? It's a dream, it's not like she's having REAL symptoms of something even close to what she's dreaming about.

look in the alternative bkt thread. There are products that are protein based and are not considered bkts (no formaldehyde or eyeds of any kind)...that are rising to the top. I think Design Essentials Strengthening therapy (uses amino acids) was one of the top picks.

Hi thanks for this, I could only find info on hair. Yes this makes total sense especially the spiritual and strength bits. I guess I just need to 'relax' thanks again

I didn't wanna make a new thread but I had one last night that was bothering me. I usually part my hair the same way each morning to put my bangs off to the right. Well I dreamt that I was preparing for work and as I parted my hair the part had enlarged into a gaping bald spot the size of my hand. None of it was falling out or breaking, it had just cleared out. I was really disturbed. When I got up this morning I paused when i was getting ready to part my hair.

Edit; reading the post explaining dreams, it makes sense. I do feel that I'm getting old my life is not taking the right path. I planned to settle down at 25 and have my degree at 21....ill be turning 21 this summer and I'm not even close. It's getting scary.

I stumbled on this thread and thought I'd share.
Like another poster, I take my dreams rather seriously. I have very vivid, realistic dreams and feel they help me sort out whatever life puzzles trouble me, whether consciously or subconsciously.

About a week ago, I got into an argument with my mother. She has Teflon unicorn hair but even so was considering a triple process within a month. (A box kit one week, another a week later, and was considering doing it again a few days later. These were all different brands and while I ultimately told her it was her hair to do what she wanted, she didn't believe me when I tried to explain how disastrous a triple process could be.) Long story short, the second week we'd discussed how she'd help me with my birthday trim/flat iron process, since I wasn't confident I could give myself a nice U shape on my straightened hair.

ANYWAY, a few days after our argument, I dreamt my mother was flat ironing my hair then she burned off a 6" section near the roots. In a snap, 18" of carefully maintained hair was on the floor. I began to cry and she pushed me down, laughing. As I continued to cry, she helped me up. And when I was back on my feet, I began to run away. When I reached the front door, a huge rat came out of nowhere and attacked me, biting my thigh. At that point, I startled awake in a cold sweat...

My takeaway was: 1) Don't argue with your mother and 2) If #1 is unavoidable, wait at least 30 days before asking her for hair help.
Lol.
