I was watching the show Doomsday Preppers where people prepare for the apocalypse or a major disaster by building forts, bunkers, indestructible vehicles, and stocking up on essential products for survival. It got me thinking...

What would you absolutely need and stock up on for your hair? List the products & tools that you "couldn't make it" without and what you would get in bulk. This is all in fun, so no need to use logic in making your choices.

Uhh First you are wwwrrroooonnngggg to get us thinking like this. I always stock ahead to make sure that I have what I need in advance. I would first have a case of plastic caps and bonnets. Standby silk pillowcases and my special combs. My plug in heating cap just in case I have to take it on the lam. I don't have a cord free. I could get in trouble so I might need garlic conditioner. I would take that Shea Moisture moisturing shampoo because I could fool around and have build up. One ceramide to go. Pumpkin seed conditioner and some hairitage hydration butter. That should cover everything for an emergency..:grin:1 wig and a brush.....

Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle, grapeseed oil, hair clips, hair pins, hair ties, and a microfiber towel or t-shirt. I could manage with these.

I love these answers!

I would need aloe vera juice, aloe vera gel (actually, I might have to break down and grow some aloe vera plants ), grapeseed oil, crisco, flaxseeds, black soap, wide toothed combs, satin bonnet, satin scarf, and all of the Tresemme Naturals condish I could find.

Chile :lol::lol::lol:

First of all, I would need a bomb-zombie-radiation proof underground room that has an independent oxygen, water and power source.

In it, I would have stockpiled a couple hundred bottles of:

CON argan and green label shampoos

Protein tx like Joico K pak, TIGI dumb blonde, Aphogee 2min, Alfaparf rigen

My HG DC: ORS replenishing...I'd probably need a 100 gallon vat of this stuff to hold me over for the next few years until we get rid of the zombies and things get back to normal...

Tressme color care conditioner 100 gallons of this stuff too actually.

100lbs of shea butter

50 gallons each of coconut, castor, hempseed, rice bran, wheatgerm oils

EO's like peppermint, lavender, lemon, grapefruit, cinnamon

Seamless combs which can also double as projectile defense weapons

Hair appliances like blow and bonnet dryers some quality flat irons, rollers of various sizes, bobby pins, headbands, hairties, bonnets and scarves

Looks up at list :look: Hmm...I'd better get crackin':lol:

I could get away with a detangling brush, my huge bottle of biolage conditioner, whatever clarifying shampoo I have lying around, and my huge jar of coconut oil, both for my hair and skin. Oh and hair scrunchies and clips of course.

I'd need a soft brush so I could distribute my sebum and a supply of water so I can moisturize. I've thought about this on occasion. ;-)

This is the one thing I could not live without! This stuff right here is my everything(as far as hair goes)! And my ion hard water shampoo, some coconut oil and hemp oil and I would be all set!
