Prepoo with a deep conditioner mixed with honey
Organix Macadamia shampoo and conditioner
Aphogee 2 min reconstructor
Rollersetting each week

Big Hit:

Lacio Lacio & Salerm 21 leave-ins mixed together...just perfect

Big Miss:

Keracare Humecto Conditioner (gold bottle): pretty good slip, but once I rinsed it out my hair was hard and tangled easily. I'll be sticking to my tried and true Silicon Mix (original formula)

Wow the purple highlighted was the exact opposite for my hair. I hated the Silicon Mix - the smell got to me after a while...

My Humecto in the big 5lb tub is delish and leaves my hair soft the whole time so indeed it is a HIT for me but the Silicon Mix was a gigantic MISS

Amazing how everyone's hair is so different and likes different things...:yep:

So far, everything Keracare has that I have tried - are HITS, except the conditioner for color treated hair. I just couldn't get the hang of how it's suppose to make my hair feel. It was a terrible MISS unfortunately.

Hmmm. That is too bad :nono: But I actually had a Etsy indie nail polish vendor offer free shipping (for a few days) due to the increase at the post office. Are the PO prices increasing that much?

HIT:
Elasta QP Shampoo for Relaxed Hair.....I think I finally found my staple sulfate poo' :happydance:

Continued Hit:

Silk Dreams Mocha Bling Butter
Remembering that I have the Silk Dreams Leave In's in my hair aresenal before reordering them :perplexed.

Hit:
Elasta QP Mango Butter and Olive Oil Moisturizer in the jar -
Smells so good and packed with a bunch of butters and oils! Really moisturizes my hair without weighing it down and defined my curls! ! My fav moisturizer thus far :)

HIT:
Darcy Transitioning Cream
JessieCurl Conditioning Treatment
Naturelle Grow Slippery Elm DC
Naturelle Grow Mango & Coconut DC

Continued Hit:

Grapeseed Oil: This stuff is the bomb for sealing, My hair is so frickin smooth! I'm currently using a brand I got from the local grocers and it work just as well as the Napa Valley brand. I'm pretty excited because thats one less oil I don't have to order online.

Any Darcy's Botanicals Moisturizer: I've tried 3 moisturizers from her line and ALL of them make my hair look and feel like silk. I'm currently using the Shea Butter Curl Moisturizing Cream and my strands couldn't be happier.

Modified LOC Method (LCOB): I've using this method for the last month now in lure of the original LOC method and my hair loves it.

New Hit:

Silk Dreams Mocha Silk Hair Milk and Wheat Germ Butter Condish: SMGDH! Why in the history of hecks did I wait so long to try this stuff. I use them together and yall.........Words could never describe how soft my hair was. YAS!

LuvNaturals Conditional Luv Condish: I used this to DC and the slip was divine! It also supplied an ample amount of moisture and left my hair well balanced.

Miss:

Kinky Kurly Perfectly Polished Hair Oil: I was trying to use this as a body oil at night to seal in my moisturizer, but I found that I was ashy the next morning. I's givin' this one away and going back to good ole' Shea Butter:yep:.

Me buying the proper tools to rollerset, only to figure out that I prefer bunning. SMH! Maybe one day I'll give it a shot.

PBN Sapote Lotion: I am still loving this moisturizer. I like it on dry and wet hair. My hair is so soft, shiny, with no oiliness or greasiness. I definitely think this is making it on to my HG list.

I've just discovered that Aloe Vera juice makes my hair hard. So everything that has avj as the 1st 5 ingredients is a no no :nono:

Misses

Soultanicals:

Marulu muru
Knot Sauce

All things O'Natural:

Rhassoul and Capacua DC

I really wish I'd discovered this before my hair's hatred before because it's an expensive LATE discovery.

I'll have to use it on my girls hair. It's a good thing there's 3 of them.

Bajanmum
For the most part, AVJ don't work for me either. Only certain products that contain it will work but it's the luck of the draw for me. I wonder why it makes our hair hard and dry and it makes others hair so moist and supple.

I however do like knot sauce. Mostly on dry hair.

Beamodel Bajanmum Think I told you guys before,my hair/scalp has a love/hate affair with aloe...It's all about formulation of the product...

*In my review of Knot Sauce,I know this is perfect for spring/summer due to the humidity/moisture in the air,I used the knot sauce on the warm winter days we had on wet/dry hair..Nice... One of the reasons,I made it my staple spring/summer product.it going to do well on top of glycerin spray, for summer wash-n-goes..

Happy Hair Growing!
