Bioton is giving me a MUSTACHE

Ok ladies I'm at work and I just came from the ladies room and I am ready to cry. I am growing a mustache It has to be the bioton. I've never had a problem with facial hair before. Maybe I'm making a big deal out of this but...I have a mustache. It's nothing to get it threaded when I get my eyebrows done but I don't want it to grow back thicker Is this happening to anyone else? What do you do? Should I stop taking it?

Girl, msm has my facial hair growing like crazy. I have to pluck my eyebrows every 2-3 days. I hope that means it's working on my scalp too. If that's the only sideaffect you're having I wouldn't stop taking it. I just remove the hair more often. It's annoying but I feel it's worth it to have better hair growth up top too!

This is why i stopped all my vitamins etc cuz after years of waxing my hair was fine on my legs etc but it started coming in thicker and i wasnt happy so i gave up biotin silica and msm....yes i wish my hair would grow faster but not that badly that i want to grow hair everywhere else...but thats just me lol!

I take 1000mcgs twice a day of biotin and 3000mcgs of MSM

Ya know, I noticed this a few days ago, that my mustache is starting to get a little fuller. I'm sure it's the biotin, as I jsut started taking that about a month or two ago, but I've been taking the MSM for a minute. I don't mind though, because it's a sign that the hair on my HEAD is also growing longer/thicker/fuller - I just whip out the ole razor, borrow some of hubby shaving cream, and trim that up every time I do my weekend DC - I plan on including it in my weekly facial care regimen....

yes ma'am it will do that, hair everywhere underarms, pubic area, legs chest etc. That's why I don't take stuff specifially for hair growth.

Biotin does the same thing to me. I have a mustache and a beard, lmao. It made my eyebrows thick too which is a real plus because they were close to being bald before. I will keep taking it for this reason. I'll just be doing a lot of plucking and shaving.

Well MSM has done that tome. My eyelashes are thicker as well. I hope the hair on my head is responding as well.

Ugh!.... I don't take vitamins, but (shhh don't tell anybody) I do grow a very soft fuzzy chick-stache ... it takes a few months to come in, but it's there. I use Veet Facial Hair dipilatory cream and it works wonders...I can't see any hair for months after using it. But, push come to shove, get that Asian gal at the nail salon to wax that puppy for you.

But whatever you do, don't start shaving your facial hair...it will come back thicker and coarser than before.

I am so relieved . I have always had a mustache never bothered me. People who have known me for years still come up and say "hey you know you got a mustache?" like whatever. But since I've been taking Hair skin and nails GNC with 2500 mcg of biotin....whoa. I'm like chubaka. I got like two hairs on my chin and was scared to death like oh no Ima have a sooni? But if it's normal I'll pluck'em and shave those and keep it moving. BSL Here I come.

Does the Veet give you any kind of rash or anything? And so you saying also that it wont make it grow back in thicker like shaving does? biotin is doing the same thing to me and I noticed it a few days ago that I have a mustache now and I didn't have one before. It looks and shapes just like Hitler. I look like a little black Hitler! This sucks! I already have a problem with chin and neck hair, this SUCKS!!!! Royally! I"m pissed! Anyways, will try the Veet! Thanks for hte suggestion

Girl yes, it has happen to me and still is.....and I'm naturally hairy......so I have to deal with the extra hair.....I use to go two weeks and get my eyebrows done, now it's less than 10 days when I have to shave or get my eyebrows done....so I just deal with it...but I feel you with the biotin and msm!!!

I thought it was just me. My stache isn't as 'obvious' as my chin whiskers. I have more than before and have to get rid of them every few days. At least I know my hair is growing...cause its EVERYWHERE.

Hmmph me too.. Between the breakouts and my chin hairs growing back every 2 to 3 days after plucking and my mustache that I already had getting thicker I gave it all up.. I do not want my hair to grow that bad that im willing to walk around looking like im the man in the man in the relationshiop

I take both Biotin and MSM in fairly large doses, yet I cannot relate to any extra hairs in places that they were not already.

Ok so I already get strands under my chin, I get strands on my cheek, and I have a light light light fuzzy mustache, nothing noticeable no one even notices it, but I do, so I CAN NOT TAKE THIS STUFF, because my two strands under my chin, on my cheek are enough to make me cry.....I have hairy hairy legs and arms, and I can't imagine what this stuff will do to me. I'm just a rich blooded hairy woman that does great by masking it and I just can't take this right now lol because 1. I've gained some weight, so I feel fat and then to feel like I'm growing hair like a man is just TOO MUCH LOL

I'm sorry....I just can't.
