Rooibos Tea Rinse

Has anyone one used this by itself as a tea rinse? What were the results? Did it make your hair hard or tangled? Could I spray it in, add my DC straight on top and go under the steamer for 30 mins?

I use it with other teas but you could certainly use it under a steamed dc.
