It is easy just make your bun as normal and spin the pin in. One is good but two is awesome...they have two per box. Thicker hair needs two...

Angelicus You use them in any way you would use hair pins that you want not to show. Like in a French roll.

They're Goody Spin pins for keeping your hair up/bunned. They're really good because they keep your hair in a bun without the use of a ton of bobby pins. The most spin pins I've ever used at once was two.

I was thrilled when I found one behind my couch when I was cleaning at Thanksgiving. These things are great!
