Do you have hair like mine? Pics are from today. Wash n go, only have wen in my hair. Do you wear your hair this way? I'm trying to figure out how to not make it look so dumb and off. Do I need to get a certain cut?

It's dry, uneven and just looks all kinds of crazy. I am not going to use gel to shingle for a while because I'm trying to up my moisture game. I just wonder if anyone has hair similar to mine that makes this style work.

Je Ne Sais Quoi- try getting your ends clipped and your hair shaped to give some shape if you would like something different. But your hair doesn't look dumb at all.

Well my hair looks "dumb too", I'm in the ugly phase of growing out my hair...I want hang time so bad but I have to be patient.

I think you may have the same issue I have. You have an oval face, but the shape of your hair is round. As another poster said, perhaps take some off the top so it have a more oval shape.

Maybe one of the cosmetologists on the board could give you some hints. I just think you might need a shape up.

What about braid-outs? Have you tried those? I noticed that braids make the roots flatter and stretches the hair more than twist-outs. I think you may get a little hang time with that method. If that's what you're going for.
