I use Elasta QP Mango Butter or S-Curl Moisturizer. When my hair is straight I use the Elasta Mango Butter and when I am stretching or protective styling I use the S-Curl. I also use the S-Curl as a leave-in.

BTW, Your hair is gorgeous! I wish you had more pics.

Thanks!

Does the Elasta QP dry the hair out after a while or make the straight sections become frizzy? What's it like for damp hair with braidouts? Thank you.

Thank you. I have heard of Jane Carter before, can you describe how well it works, preferably for new growth/air dried braidouts?

I liked before, tried new things, now have returned to Goldwell Kerasilk, the instant Silk leave in cream. Find it at Ulta or online. Ultra light, sheen. Not really good for shine, but wonderful for softening and giving fluff without reversion. A little goes a long way. Texture is a loose cream.

For me it doesn't. A little goes a long way, but if I put too much it can make it flat. I havent tried it for braids outs but I've used it for my mini braids

For me, it depends on how I style my hair. I use different products for buns, braid outs or straightened hair.

I am texlaxed and I use different products for moisture.

Deep condition on wash day, apply Design Essentials leave in and a serum.

Bunning? B&B Oil Moisturizer w/Caster Oil(Hey, it works and my hair looks like the girl's hair on the bottle)

Wearing it Down? Design Essentials Leave In and a spray for Shine (I use Mizani Shine)

Shea moisture has been the first moisturizer (the hair milk and the smoothie) that has EVER been effective on my hair! Im transitioning but still have lots of relaxed ends left. If you have dry, thirsty hair I highly suggest this line.

If you are wearing your hair straight Id say deep condition well and use a serum. One N Only Argan oil was very nice as far as adding softness and shine on relaxed hair too. I could get by with that for several days.

What do you use right now?

My hair can't handle high amounts of glycerine, so S-Curl is a no go for me. I like Shea Moisture's Moisture Mist as a liquid moisturizer and Shea Moisture Conditioner or Moisture Milk as a cream moisturizer.

lonei not liking the neutrogena triple moisture anymore?

Lol, you have a great memory! I still use it, but mostly for detangling dry hair on wash days, when I use it as a regular moisturiser, it tends to frizz up my hair. Anyway, I'm loving the Elasta QP Mango Butter so thanks ladies x
