I have been SEARCHING for a moisturizer for the LOOONGEST. My mom came home with a sample of ORS HAIRrepair creme OMG LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE. I don't see it on their website, but I do know they have a conditioner in those annoying paks, but I hope the larger container is available here in Canada.

I'm trying to figure out if this is a real protein moisturizer, as I don't see ingredients on the sample.

Anyone else using this product??? Is it new? Or am I just late?:look:

Where online?

I tolja!!! It's the business!!! Do you have a Walmart nearby? It's $5.99 at Walmart and $6.99 at the other local hair stores. It is fairly new so many places don't yet have it, but its a staple for my daughter and I. Just add a little vatika oil to seal and you're good to go!!

I didn't even know they had the jar, one of the ladies on here put me on this and I love it, I tried it Monday, omg do much slip! I wanted to keep it in but was scared because of the wheat protein

I was trying to find it in my area but couldn't. I ordered it online from Amazon last week and received it on Tuesday.

I found it in my local hair store for 6.99 soooo happy. They also have the grape seed and something else oil for your scalp, which I will try later as u just bought another brand. I also saw the hair polish. I sucked it up and bought the conditioner in the pak just to take part in the hype. I also bought the hair mask ( I was down today and went shopping to feel better - don't judge me) I wonder how this compares to the mayo treatment? Can anyone share the difference in effect?

A little cheesed now. I look at the ingredients and I see Petrolatum. LoOks like its only the Canadian version that has this, as I dont see it in the ingredients listed above. Why do brands do this? send the cheap stuff to Canada? I've web noticed it with Carmex lip balm. Disappointed.

Wow, I didn't know they do that, switch up the ingredients for certain places, that's messed up, got me thinking they send bootleg stuff to some places

True. I'm thinking it has something to do with importing. Perhaps Canada will only import so much, so they send us the cheaper products based on what buyers are willing to spend. Just a guess. I am hurt and offended that they would do this. It's like the US gets the good stuff and we are always left in the cold, why? This is enough to stop me from using anymore of their products, since apparently I am not worthy of the good stuff.

It is the same product with the same ingredients. Canada just has different, and some might say stricter, labeling laws. You will see the difference in labels between products in US and the UK. Importing between Canada and US is governed by NAFTA so import limitations do not apply.

I do wish I have some ORS staple products because it is one brand I can find everywhere and in every drug and grocery store, even in my Canadian city with a 1% black population. I might pick up the creamy aloe to use when I swim.

ETA: taytay86 Did you buy the anti-breakage or the intense moisture version?

Hopefully it's not like Burt's bees and everything sucks! I tried shampoo, deep conditioner, pre shampoo treatment and something else and everything was soooo drying

This is the only ORS product that has ever disappointed me. Normally everything is so good. But I will dry it on hair to make sure.

Hummm....I hope so. I think it's called the intense moisture, but it has protein in it. I wonder what the anti breakage one is like????

This list leaves out the petrolatum as the 4th ingredient... that's odd...

SerenavanderWoodsen - I copied this list from texasbeautysupplies.com. It's for the intense moisture version I'm using. It seems the anti-breakage doesn't have petro. The jars look identical.

Ingredients: aqua (water), C12-15 alkyl benzoate, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, petrolatum, cetearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, PEG-150 stearate, cetyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, PEG-20 hydrogenated lanolin, PEG-40 stearate, behentrimonium, methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, cyclomethicone, isopropyl palmitate, lactic acid, glycerin, propylene glycol, dimethicone, glyceryl stearate, ammonium hydroxide, persea americana (avocado) oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, hydrolyzed wheat protein, hydrolyzed keratin, green tea (camellia sinensis) extract, tocopheryl acetate, PPG-3 benzyl ether myristate, hydroxyethylcellulose, magnesium aluminum, silicate, DMDM dydantoin, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, disodium EDTA, BHT, Parfum (fragrance), Benzyl benzoate, geraniol, lilal, d-Limonene.

I am so tempted to try out this new hairrepair line, but I said I was going to stick with one line. Maybe I'll just try one little pack:look:
