whatcha think?

Out of style?

I say YAY!!! I luv it but the weight of the braids is concerning. Would they pull your hair too much?

Yay for me. I had some over this summer. I just took them out on the first. I do my own and they aren't too heavy. I never go past hip length so that may be a factor. I do them very short in the front though to keep tension off my hairline.

How long did it take you?

i like the braids they are so old school and hip right now.

The only negative thing i would have to say i saw a few heads with them and they all had really raggedy ends but they were very neat at the scalp. So the hair must not have been braided correctly or dipped long enough in hot water or something but it was messy.

They had me thinking of what i would do with the ends myself when i braid my hair that long i dont like the ends curly nor do i like it with a lot of the hair left lose so i said i would go real old school and burn the ends lol

but overall i like them and i'm set to do them myself sometime before sept 22nd

I have them now, loving them.
Did it myself, so I am in control of the size & weight of each braid, plus I used the lightweight Xpression Hair.
Am trying to go six months...

Eta: they are quite long...tailbone & crackin'...

Yes, I have always worn my braided extensions like this (I remember Patra, Queen of the Pack lol!)

They are heavy but not individually, only as a whole - so the weight is distributed evenly over your head.

This is a great PS for me, I really see growth when I wear these, but I gave them up when I started my HHJ so that I could get at my hair when I want to.

I love the way they look and tried them once, but they were waaaay too heavy. Like it was causing me serious discomfort when I got rained on and I had to take them out a few days later heavy. That water weight was crazy. They were mbl.
