How do get my swimming cap

You need a tighter swim cap. Its usually the opposite problem, too tight. I found out that they are designed to help prof'l swimmers glide through the water more so than keeping water out. So you will still get water in there if you fully submerge

It's true about the probable purpose for swim caps: it's to protect the pool and water (from keeping hair clogs out and too much product in the water) and for being more streamlined in the water. Your hair will get wet. Try the caps that the pros use and put it on over your ears. Sometimes women try to leave their ears out. If you jump from a diving board (not too much of them left any more) it will come off from the force.

My question: does anyone swim with a weave?

Yes, I treat my hair just like I would if it was out of the sew in. I coat in juice and coconut oil & sometimes cond'r. The extension hair, I just dampen w/water and coconut oil. Then put on swim cap. I never cover my ears, I may have to try that.

I don't know if this will make any sense, but when I used to swim in a pool, if someone else put it on for me, it stayed on and very little got wet.

Essentially, you hold the cap to your forehead (wherever you want it to sit) and the second person swings it over your head to the base (in a very quick and swift move).

When I don't have anyone, I use my knee, but it is not as good a fit as when someone does it for me. Oh, and I left my ears in.

Hope that helps!
