Do Guys Prefer Women to be Natural, Weaved OR Relaxed?

Wait wait I had to pause it "their wave patterns or whatever just compliment their skin tone" lol now THAT'S a first. I thought when people talked about complimenting skin tones, they were speaking of other colors :lol:
 
I feel like the guys generally understand natural to mean your own hair, but the majority seem to prefer it straightened. I watched the other video, and that seemed to be general consensus. If they grasped the unrelaxed aspect, you constantly hear them saying it has to be "neat," "brushed back" etc. Interesting anyway...
 
It all depends on the guy at the end of the day. I think mist just prefer real hair that is well cared for regardless. And just because they say they prefer one thing doesn't mean that's the only kind of woman they would be with. It is just hair after all.

Men just dont like BAD weaves...however men are simple and they won't articulate it that way. They just say they hate weaves.

It's the plastic looking weaves with fake parts they despise. However, high end hair, with believable lengths and textures...they don't care about.

Yeeeaaa a lot of those guys sounded kinda confused upon deeper questioning. Especially when they would say they want to be able to run their fingers through a woman's hair. I wonder what they're really envisioning because while you could stroke my natural hair, "running through" wasn't really happening :lol:. Same when I had locs.. that's a different tactile experience all together.

Maybe a lot of guys want to feel free to touch a woman's hair without the duck and weave response.. that would make more sense.
 
Men do have a preference. However they like it to be neat and not so easy to tell if it is fake.
 
and some guys don't understand when you say "natural".. they think you mean "natural looking hair". not natural as in "no perm". they aren't that smart

@snillohsss I can't speak for all men, but my husband DOES hate weaves!...whether its gorgeous or not, he always says "Bay i miss YOUR hair" within a week of me wearing it :spinning:....I don't think he would care if i was relaxed though, as long as its mine.
 
Whatever kind looks nice & allows them to touch, pull, get in the shower/pool, etc.
They do take pride in their lady having long, real hair though..Ive noticed its a bragging point in manlawLol.

Just like I said... They all say that. A man would especially say that to a woman's whose real hair they can measure weave against.

However the chick wearing 22 inches of Extensions Plus relaxed textures hair would get PLENTY of play from men...weave or not.

Men are even singing and rapping about weave...talking about, I don't want to mess your weave up. :spinning: As long as it looks good, men don't care. I'm not saying men don't prefer a woman's natural hair....I'm saying wearing a weave won't hinder a woman meeting men.

the men i know don't like weave or wigs at all. men just tolerate fake hair, but that is not what they prefer.

Just watched Part 1 and Part 2 of what men say they would prefer and women are still trying to talk about what men really want:lol:. Dang we just heard it from the horse's mouth,lol.

I don't care how put together a weave is, most men prefer the real deal. It doesn't mean they won't find a woman in a weave attractive, but all in all they would prefer her to wear her real, natural hair. Why we gotta fight that? What is wrong with wanting our men to find what is natural about us attractive?:look:

And then women talk about men who hollar at them more with weave. Well of course they do. They would hollar more at a woman who was dressed half-nekked then a woman with classy clothes. The latter presents more of a challenge. Sigh...:ohwell:

As soon as my hair grew to a TWA, and was presentable to go outside, my DH threw my 100% Remy hair wigs into the garbage. :look: Didn't matter how much I protested, he threw em in to the trash. :nono:

I saved one, but I dare not let DH see it! :lachen:
 
They just like a women that look good. Whether she rockin it natural, weaved up, or relaxed. Most men I know don't care about hair for real...

LOL, That's what you think.
One time my friend came to me upset ahe had just got dumped by her boyfriend. Normally she would wear long weave and her hair was relaxed underneath. She was telling her boyfriend that she might wear her real hair out for a while just to warn him in advance. He didn't want her to do it but she did it anyway and went to his house. Her hair was neck length but it was the healthiest it had ever been. He dumped her on the spot when he saw her hair.
We were young like 18-19 so didn't really have any advice to give her. All I could say was you should give him the weave and let him have his way with it considering that's all he cares about.

The last part reminds me a little bit of something I heard on the radio the other day. Rickey Smiley is always complaining about women wearing "that purple bonnet" to bed. So they said they are going to create a bonnet with a wig on top so they can have some hair to pet (or whatever) and the woman's actual hair would be protected.

BostonMaria, ME TOO!!! I get so sick of hearing my boyfriend's mouth sometime. I'm like look, it's either you have a girlfriend with a weird "head sock" on her head at night or you have a girlfriend who's going out with you damn near bald during the day. He tells me "well why did you buy this pink satin pillowcase to put on my bed making it look all not manly for then?" or "well you sleep on my chest anyway so what's the big deal" Knowing damn well to fully go to sleep he turns over. SMH. They want to have all their cake and eat it too. I woke up one morning to him flicking my bonnet while it was on my head saying, "I don't like you" That boy is NUTS :crazy:!
