A side of avocado sauce without a sandwich. I wanna do a DC tonight. :look:

On a scale from 1 to 10, how bad is my hair addiction? What would you rate yourself?

Hmm, didn't think about that. I just wanted it cause the avocado was already smooth. Surprisingly, I'm not a PJ or anything (lol)

 Y'all giving me life. I checked. It's 100% puree avocado. But the fact that you're concerned shows the hair diva in both of you.

Oh good. I was replying at the same time as you.

No judgment OP. I'm surprised I didn't think of this. Hell if people are going to Starbucks for coffee grounds to do an oil infusion, why not get a side of Avocado for a DC? I ain't mad at ya boo!

I had being thinking of how I could get some pureed avocado. :yep: I don't see anything wrong with the idea. If I had thought of it I would have done the same thing.

I would also like to know how much it was. It would be nice to be able to pick up already pureed avocado for the low-low.

That was beyond but I'm not mad at your for the creativity and ingenuity.

@NaturalfienD Starbucks for coffee grounds, you say? Details please?

Wouldn't making your own from an overripe avocado and some oil in a blender be cheaper?

That's why I asked how much this avocado sauce cost. I just bought an avocado today and it was inexpensive, ripe, big n ready for application.

It is 75¢ for a six inch amount or $1.25 for a footlong amount. I don't have a blender so this is cheaper for me right now. I mix the avocado with conditioner so I may need less than the next person.

I found this to be ingenious. No stranger than buying a jar of bananas in the baby food section to be used in the hair. Your way is no work attached as opposed to buying the avocado and having to work it before applying. Good job of thinking outside the box.

At first, I  .

Then I remembered that I buy yogurt only to DC with and banana baby food when there's no baby in my house.:look:

:lachen:

Thank you for posting this! I've been wanting to try avocados in my regi..good lookin out girl :)

I'm saving this story for the next time my bf tells me i'm obsessed with my hair - just to prove i have plenty of partners in crime!

I think this is a really smart idea....like really smart. I'm going to try doing this Friday. Thanks BEAUTYU2U!

Lol you ladies are too much. I can't believe that going to the store and getting a fruit is less partical than going to subway....
