This is moisturizer....well I have been using this for a few weeks and my hair has been loving this....!!!!!! It does have Petrolatum and Mineral Oil , but it just does great with bringing out my curl pattern and keeping my hair moisturized..Best $7 ever. One of my staples.....

One question will it layed down 4c edges? I'm one week post BC and I Co washed today and found my curl pattern, looks like 3c, however, the section of hair by temples is a 4Z. Absolutely nothing will lay them down. I applied, PM The Conditioner mixed with Jamaican castor oil and Sweet almond oil. I also applied Eco Style Gel just to edges. My left side cooperated a little, but the right side. Is wicked. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is kinda thick and when I don't use gel , this lays it down, but it does not give me that long term hold like gel does....My texture is 3c, so I am not sure about 4c.

Do you use the scarf method to lay down your edges?

It's not grease, it's like a moisturizer, but it's really thick...A little will take you a long way. If you put too much. It will give your hair that greasy look.

I used a scarf yesterday after co wash and it was okay. I believe my hair is in shock and today I used my products and it does not look so tightly curled. Once the hair grows out a little, yor'll see less of my edges. I really don't care for how gel creates a hard & crunchy texture.
