I think it really comes to the ability of your hair to stay up and out after a certain length. I really doubt she is hip length.

You might be right, but if my hair could make a fro that big, I wouldn't give a good gotdamn if it was only APL stretched. You couldn't tell me NOTHING

In one of her interviews she said she has been growing it out for 12 years. I think she has a lot of thick strands on her head. I love it!

i saw an interview where she said she stretches her hair in two braids for a few days and then picks it out to get that look. i would think she is somewhere between bsl and mbl if straightened or pulled down.
