I think this may be the reason why it's been so difficult to keep my ends fuller even after trimming 1-3 inches.
I want to get rid of ponytail holders, but what else can be used (besides banana clips) to gather the hair together gently?
This is how I do mine when I don't use a ponytail holder (works like a charm).Gather hair as if you were going to put it into a pony tail holder, twist the ends till they're all gathered up, then bun up the ends by wrapping it around itself sans the pnytail holder, insert a spin pin or two and you're good to go. You have some beautiful ends!I do what everyone does for the spin pin and add a hair stick. Sometimes I used hair pins or a small hair comb. Every now and then I use a scrunchie. I rarely use a seamless holder b/c that seems to cause breakage. I have spin pins but I really don't use them. I need to start using them more.
