Ummm so Im natural again...BC Pics

I aint even gon' go into too much detail. I think Im just one of those people that like to switch up my hair a lot...and Ill prob never make it to WL...but thats ok everything is not meant to be And because I pretty much know how and what it takes to maintain healthy long hair, Im not obsessed with length anymore.

My last relaxer was June 8th and I BC'd on Feb 8th. So exactly 8 months. I guess at this point Im supposed to have about 4 inches worth of newgrowth? Sure doesnt seem like it. Either I didnt get 1/2 inch per month OR the stylist cut beyond 4 inches.Or botherplexed IDK.

I used the Tresemme Naturals conditioner (the cone free one with the aloe and avocado oil in it) to co wash with and leave in. That was my first time using it. I really like it, def with be a staple.

My hair is about 90% dry in the pics. The roots take forever.

I guess I was in such a big rush to grow out my hair, and not to mention i was self conscious as a **** (I was 20, had acne, no idea how to do makeup ) that I really didnt enjoy my hair in each length stage as it progressed. Nearly 10 years later I feel completely different. I guess confidence does increase with time

Right? Clearly I dont care. Its funny cuz everybody acts like as soon as you cut your hair thats it! Life is over, your hair will never grow back, you'll lose your job, your dh will divorce you, and youll be invisible to the rest of the world

I can totally relate to this. Now that confidence has kicked in I want to enjoy my BC too. I am getting that itch to cut again as spring and summer is rolling around.

If my memory serves me correctly didn't you relax because of work after being natural for a couple of years? Because of your work schedule or school. I just say that to say, was natural hair easier to care for vs relax with your schedule?

Lola28 Thank you! Congrats on ur BC Doesnt it feel great? No I actually relaxed because I was sick of the dryness and single strand knots, and then sick of goin to the salon to get it straightened. I think to combat this problem Im going to have to trim more regularly than the avg person
