What do I need to know to maintain healthy hair? I need some advice . It's been three weeks since I had a relaxer

just up your moisture. make sure you deep condition your hair and use a good
moisturizer. and be easy on the heat.

My advice would be for you to get it done professionally by a colorist...someone who specializes in color.
I'm going to the salon, I for sure ain't doing it lol, I don't even trust myself to relax my hair

Ok, whew *wipes brow* I'm glad!

Up, up, up your moisture and keep those ends nice and trimmed. Also, as Shortdub said, rollers will be your new best friend!

stay away from the heat. wraps and rollersets should become your bffs now.

Thanks, so far I'm good because all I do is roller set and I haven't flat ironed my hair in years and I moisturize before i go to sleep and when I'm about to leave out in the afternoon with perfect for perms moisturizing creme and seal with coconut oil

Yal making me feel confident that I can do it and I'm no longer scared :) I seem to be doing everything already fine, but is Shea moisture a good shampoo for colored hair because that seems to be the only shampoo that doesn't dry my hair

I don't have my bottle in front of me right now, but it's very gentle. I don't think that it will do much to your colored hair, but when you do your first wash, check to see if there is lots of color in the sink/shower. If there is, its stripping your hair of the color you just put on.

Paul Mitchell makes a good shampoo for color hair and their daily conditioner is perfect...makes the hair really soft and moist afterwards.

Alright I will do that thanks

It was a scary process but it's done, I love the color, didn't want to go too bright because the rhianna hair color is basically clown red
