Whadid ya get? I wanna know :drunk:

They gave me a samples of Henna Sooq Cocoveda Shampoo bar, Henna Sooq Sweet Honey Shampoo bar, John Masters organics Lavendar & avocado intensive conditioner, John Masters honey & hibiscus hair reconstructor, and John Masters Citrus & neroli detangler. I have always wanted to try the John Masters products just didn't want to buy them cuz they are pricey to me. Only thing I have brought by him is the deep follicle stimulator and volumizing spray and I really liked it.

Hit:
- Bobeam: Cheris hibiscus and Goat milk & honey shampoo bars.
- Saravun: broccoli hair butter :lick: (revisited)
- Jasmine's bath and beauty: A&S in banana buttercream :lovedrool: (revisited). this smells AMAZING and my hair felt great!
- HV Whipped ends
- mixing my left over sulfur oil mix with some butters easier to apply without having oil drip down the side of my face.

HIT

I gave the VS So Sexy Nourish condish to myself as a treat. I love love love it, the smell and slip!

MISS

I got some Blue Magic's olive oil breakage leave-in formula (green). I don't like it. It doesnt do much for my ends at all and it makes my hair feel funny. I will stick with the Blue Magic coconut oil grease (which I love), but I still want to try a new oil moisturizer, maybe I will try the cantu next.

CONTINUED HITS:

Oyin Honey Hemp for Cowashing
Hairitage Hydrations Products
Tiiva Naturals Shea Hemp Growth Hair Butter

HUGE HITS:

Coffee, Tea & ACV Rinses

MISS:

Having Sales when a Sista' tryna' get her No-Buy On

Hit: Giovanni tea tree triple treat which I use to like but then moved on to other products....I use to think it was too drying but didn't feel that way at all using it today:grin: Thanks IDareT'sHair - it was a convo with you that made me dig it out of the guest bathroom:yep:

HITS:
All my Keracare products I bought that I have used so far. I have used KC Oil Moisturizer with Jojoba Oil, KC Leave-In, KC Defining Custard, KC Edge Tamer, KC Restorative hair Mask, 1st Lather Poo, Hydrating Detangling Poo and Humecto:lick:.

ON THE FENCE:
Affirm MoisturColor Conditioner. It's a little sticky and I think I may need to give it another chance before I can decide definitively how I feel about it:ohwell:.

HIT!!!

Darcy's Botanicals Cocoa Bean Smoothing Cream
OMG! This! I just used it today. Used it as a leave in AND moisturizer, worked GREAT both ways. WOW. When is she going to sell this full size?! Ugh.

@Poranges

This is like the Zillion-ith Positive Review on this product. (And now from a Relaxed Head).:yep:

I love the Transitioning Hair Creme and Folks are saying this one is better.

That speaks Volumes.

I hope she does sell the Full-Size so I can try it out.:look:

I didn't order anything directly from her BF.

I ordered my DB from other Vendors, so I missed out getting a Sample.:ohwell:

It is AWESOME. Best moisturizer thus far for my relaxed hair, I think I'm going to stop looking. :look: I reached for it instead of my SD Almond Buttercream and I am SO glad I did. She still includes it with every order even up to now though. :yep: I'm going to e-mail her. :look:

Poranges

I'm sure she has been getting "Requests" to make this into a Full-Sized Product.:yep:

I have the DB Shea Butter Lotion too, but haven't tried it.

I hope she brings the Cocoa Bean on-line.:yep:

It has to be good if you put down the SD's:lol:

Napp

I really like that Vitale Body & Bounce too.

I can't remember what it smells like now? I had it and really enjoyed it, but never replaced it.

I would definitely repurchase it. *adds to list*:look:

IDareT'sHair

it smells similar to ultrasheen satin creme press with a vinegar afternote(you dont smell it initially) it fades eventually and seems to cover the smell that my scalp oils produce so i deal with it. i also may have a very old batch because the jar also has the old packaging.

i really love this stuff. my hair has beautiful bounce and body all the way until wash day unlike when i was "moisturizing" my hair with other cone and oil filled products.

This month, loving Tresemme Naturals Conditioners (for co-washing, detangling and as a leave-in) and Nutiva Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. I'm also feeling Rapeseed (Canola) oil for sealing (very moisturizing).
Before, I had only tried Coconut oil but a low grade. This EVCO smells so luscious and feels so good!

Misses:
Shea Moisture Moisture Retention Shampoo: just not liking shampoo so I'm letting it be!
Suave Naturals Ocean Breeze Conditioner... nada for me!

January Miss:

b.a.s.k cacao bark deep conditioning hair treat- I wanted to love this like everyone else, but it just does not work well for my needs.

My review of the product:

I had to use a lot of this product (2 oz. and I have short hair) to cover all of my hair, it does not detangle well like how Curl Junkie and Miss Jessie's Deep Conditioning products do. I left this DC in my hair for a little over an hour and the results were okay. The results did not equate to the price tag of this stuff. Would I buy it again-no ( I had to use too much of it and I like CJ and MJ's better). Also, it did not smell like chocolate at all.

Dampen hair with distilled water.
Section hair with cake cutter and oil scalp (use oil, pomade or butter).
Smooth oil from roots to ends.
Cover hair with plastic cap.

** Can also be used to prepare hair and scalp for ayurvedic pastes.**

WOW my first miss in a very long time. From my journal
ASIAN Coconut CoWash: 2nd use first impression was correct drying and slip exisited only with copious amounts of product. Next time I use I will dilute as with any other poo:( Will not repurchase

Misses:
- Pura Body Naturals Chocolate Hair Smoothie (This product is way too light to be effective – it is not thick, it is not moisturizing, it provides no slip or softness, and does not smell like chocolate. What’s the point?)
- Mozeke Moisturizing Hair Masque (When I first tried this product during last year’s Black Friday sale, it proved to be marvelously moisturizing. Now, it does absolutely nothing...and has a questionable aroma. I threw all six jars in the trash.)

Tentative Hit:
- HOTs (Despite being a messy extra step in my routine, it seems as if it has taken my DC’ing up a notch.)

Continued Hits:
- Diluted Elasta QP Crème Conditioning Shampoo (The best shampoo and detangler I’ve ever encountered.)
- Darcy’s Botanicals Daily Leave-in (A thick, creamy product that provides softness and lasting moisture. What more could I want?)
- ORS Replenishing Conditioner (moisture + a light protein kick + slip = me ecstatically running through a field of daisies in slow motion)

Big Miss:

Suave Pomegranite Conditioner. It had virtually no slip and it made my hair feel a little hard. This is not what I look for in a detangling/cowash conditioner:nono:.

continued hits;
qb amla and olive heavy cream
darcy botanicals leave in
giovanni 50/50 shampoo
aubrey's gbp, j.a.y and hsr conditioners

IDareT'sHair

@southerncitygirl

You Right! I am. :look:

Thanks for keeping me in check. It's day 24....and I'm having severe & quite serious withdrawls.

Yeah, I'm in it to win it until June. *pray for me girl*:nono:

@ IDareT's Hair re: b.a.s.k.- cacao bark hair treat.

I found that the product isn't a dc on my hair. I will keep trying it out to see if with continued use I get better results. I may even add a product to it for more moisture.
