Does this closure look bad?

I just got a new sew-in today and I decided to try a closure piece. It hasn't even been a few hours yet and I can't stand it. I'm so close to ripping it out of my head because I think it looks too "wiggy"

While I was getting my hair done so many women kept telling me how wonderful it looked (without prompting) and told me that I just had to get used to it on myself.

Does it look bad? I know I'll get an honest opinion here. What say you, LHCF?

*hope the pictures aren't too bad/blurry

Well the pictures aren't too clear, and the colorings a bit tinted, so I'm not sure how the scalp looks.
Being hair obsessed, I can spot almost any weave, lace wig, or extensions a mile away so if i seen you on the street, I'd think you had on a closure. It doesnt look bad, but the realistic (and expensive!!!!) closures have more scalp showing.

Very hard to tell as there isn't much light in those pics, but from what I see, it looks natural and quite nice.

Random note: I find that face blur photo quite interesting. Looks like a Jackson-esque nose. :lachen: RIP MJ.

Again, the hair looks great to me. Maybe you can post some better pics in natural light.

I can tell be the pics that it probably looks unnatural in person. It's not laying as flat as it should, and there seems to be minimal to no scalp. Is this a store bought or homemade closure?

That's exactly what I was thinking! I wish I had done a little more research and looked at the scalp of the closure before I bought it

You're closure's floating. It should be re-applied. What vendor is it from?
I got the closure from a local bss. Probably my first mistake:ohwell: What is floating closure?

That's what I thought when I looked at the pictures on my phone! Then I looked in the mirror again and BAM

Yeah, I can't find a scalp at all. I bought this in a bss just to try out a closure. I really want to take it out because of the way it looks, and the fact that I paid to get it sewn in. I'm so reluctant to waste this money  Not to mention the fact that my stylist told me that in the case I didn't like it, she braided my hair in a way that the closure could be taken off. However, I would have to get an invisible part to cover up the tracks instead of just letting the hair lay flat.

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth just yanking out now and trying to cover the tracks myself

It looks a little wiggy. I think you could tweeze some hairs in your part, and dab a little skin colored foundation in the "part"'.

Getting it from the BSS is probably the issue. I would say if you want a realistic closure, you'd have to be willing to invest the money in a quality vendor. I have one in now (Hallley's Curl) and it looks very natural but it is a little costly. However, I think it's worth the price but it all depends on what your going for and how much your willing to pay. HTH.
