Golden75 Hi,I like the dew as co-wash, but love, love it as a rinse out...I think it's the type of product that works best in the spring/summer.....

Happy Hair Growing!

Lita - thanks, i know you told me before too, just wasn't sure if it was this product. I've only used as a moisturizer, and it's starting to grow on me.

Another Hit: Oyin whipped pudding. Provided moisture, slip, and a lil hold for my twists. And it's a multi use product. Says it can be used as a dc. Too bad I only have 1/2 of a sample.

I saw an email Oyin sent someone on naturallycurly in response to a question about the formula change. Oyin says there was no formula change, here is the email:

Here we go, curlies. An explanation from Oyin:

"hey there ladies! our apologies for the lack of clarity - we have not changed the ingredients in ANY of our goodies and have absolutely no plans to do so. when we switched to the new labels, we changed the language of our ingredients to be INCI compliant (international nomenclature of cosmetic ingredients). this meant that we had to specify each component of our ingredients, including those which we purchase as a compound. the trade name of the emulsifier we use in Hair Dew and HH is Behentrimonium Methosulfate, but it is actually a compound ingredient which includes Cetearyl Alcohol + Behentrimonium Methosulfate. Please rest assured that we are still using the same ingredients in the same ratios, so as to deliver unchanged excellence to our customers!

ThickRoot - thanks, that clears that up! thank goodness, cause I am having a good day with Oyin!

Girl! Me too, cause I didn't care for Oyin too much then the HH and Dew started working for me and I didn't want to give them up. :lick: I bought a liter of Dew during BF hopefully when I crack it open it still works the same and this is all true.

Tresemme conditioners!!

I've used VO5 for years as a cheapie detangling pre-poo conditioner. When I rinse it out the tangles fall out as well, but I usually use a little bit more to help further detangle once the water hits it. However, it's way too thin to do anything at that point and just rinses out.

Tresemme's line of conditioners (I own 6 different ones now, but they all feel the same) are thick enough to do both jobs!! I had the 'Naturals' conditioner but never really used it on my hair. I picked up the Anti Breakage one 2 weeks ago, tried it out, and my hair just loved it. The slip was incredible

I'll still use VO5, but Tresemme has won me over indefinitely!

I didn't even have to use a comb or my Denman - all I did was finger detangle the whole way through twisting my hair :yep:

ThickRoot

Thanks for sharing this. I have even read where folks said Honey Hemp had been reformulated.:perplexed

I guess nothing changed but the Labels/Packaging (and that's good to know).:yep:

On the fence:
Terresentials mud wash - my hair is soft when I'm done but some of my gel was left in my hair after using this *shrugs* maybe it's a cowasher for me!

beautyaddict1913 - I never used Terresentials, but read up on it. I think if you have build or heavy products you can use a castille soap first, then use the mud wash, if my memory is serves me right.
