@Lita

I also like the Honey & Soy for my Hair:grin:

Also MD's:

Amala Haircreme
Henna Haircreme
Tucuma & Olive Hair Butter *very light & whippy*
Yogurt Hair Smoothie
Vanilla Lemon Souffle

Might be a hit:
Curls (at Target) Curl Creme Brule I have been using it for a few days now and so far I really like the stuff. Testing it as a leave-in and second day moisturizer/refresher. It has a creamy lotion consistency and goes on light into my hair. It leaves my hair feeling very soft. Aloe leaf juice and glycerin are the second and third ingredients so I will need to test it out a couple more times to see if it dries my hair out or not.

HIT
Shi Naturals Pre Poo Butter Creme. I  multi function products. I steamed with this for pre pooing on my hair. I also emulsified it in my hands and used it as an oil. Then I also used it on my skin. My skin is special and 7 hours later my skin is not ashy. It's a keeper.

Jan. Hits so far:
  • CJ Smoothing Lotion
  • Oyin Honey Dew
  • Oyin Whipped Pudding
  • Hemp Seed Oil
  • Ylang-Ylang EO
  • Brazil Nut Butter
  • Chagrin Valley's Extra Honey/Beer Shampoo Bar
  • Aussie Moist Conditioner
Jan. Misses so far:
  • As I Am Co Wash- makes my hair dry
  • MyHoneyChild Banana Scalp Cleanser- why does it look like that
  • Chi Air flat iron- temp. dial is not sturdy, and it pulls out hair.

Lol, I'm from Jersey too and I get the Razac thing. I loved their Hair Oil in a pump bottle. It stunk and I'm not sure about the ingredients but it had my hair blinging!

IDareT'sHair I wonder if I can msg her and ask her to add the silk and aloe to the order I made the other day.

I should have stayed my butt out of this thread. I went last night and hit up her Esty store and purchased Silk n' Aloe Cream, Avocado Cloud and Coconut Mango Hair Moisturizer I am hoping I like the products as much as you guys.

I've enjoyed every product I've purchased from her & it's just the right amount.

"Sprout" is the equivalent to Christine Gant's Mixed Greens

And the "Happy Hempy Hair" is a dead-ringer for Hairveda's Green Tea Butter(if you've ever tried either)

They all are excellent. Priced right & Ships Fast. She's as Nice as can be too!

And you're right, they are all primarily Cremes & Butters:lick:

@IDareT'sHair - I don't seem to get the long last moisture feeling like with the honey hemp. I definately felt a difference in my hair with HH (i used while relaxed). So going to try and finish this up to see if it will become a staple/hit.

Haven't you noticed that this particular product gets varying reviews?:ohwell:

That is so strange. I still have 2 bottles to delve into.

Hope it's a HIT for me.:drunk:.....:nono:

IDareT'sHair - yes, I notice mixed reviews. I bought it when it first dropped, and I think I've read there was a formula change (not positive though).
I'm going to try it on wet hair, later. I'm thinking someone maybe Lita (and I may have already asked her) said to use as a co-wash, or rinse it. May be she can clarify (no pun intended) if/what she said.

I believe it was Lita that made that suggestion about the Hair Dew. I love it. I have no problem with it but I may try to cowash with it just out of curiousity. I love multi function products.

hit

silk dreams shea what- sd knows how to make a great dc. its so thick and creamy. it has great slip. my hair feels very strong and soft.

silk dreams almond buttercream- this is a pleasant move from the creme de la silk which my hair hated. its soft light and creamy and absorbs well into my hair.

hairitage hydration calm down scalp cream- makes my scalp feel...... calm :look:

hit turned miss

silk dreams alliyahs blessing- this is my final ruling on this. i have too many better butters that give me excellent results to constantly have to deal with the grains or whatever that is in the butter.

Shay72 - thanks, I thought it was Lita. Will use some in a bit. Think I'll use on damp hair vs. wet.

Hit: Dang near anything containing ceramides! Think I'll mix a little in my castor oil, kbb hj oil mix.

Vitale mo body styling and thickening lotion-gives me alot of volume and shine. My hair has a healthy silky shine when i use this, no extra oils or cones are needed.

vitale bounce and body moisturizing creme-my only gripe is the smell.(vinegary notes) Otherwise it moisturizes my hair beautifully and keeps my hair from looking and smelling oily.
