So far, I am really loving hempseed oil because it seems to be perfect for my fine strands.
Crisco- edges with root control iron
Coconut- all over for 2h prepoo : love it:
Jojoba- scalp prepoo
Castor- great for Bantu knots
Grapeseed- love it for taking off eye makeup haven't used it on hair
Argan- wanted to like it... My hair was like meh...

Yes it's for edges. Kinda pricey but I've had mine for about 6 years. Works great.

I use it right before I go under the dryer, it softens my hair, I have medium fine hair, and it doesn't weight my hair down, I am able to just glide a comb through it. I use one pump for each side so a little goes a long way. The consistency is a medium thickness, not too thin and not thick at all to me. I get it from Sally's

Oils have really Stepped Up their Game.
And those Spritz's are nice and super lightweight.
