Hits:
Marie Dean Seaweed and Rice DC - I love the texture of this, would love to have a moisturizer with the same consistency

Donna Marie Hair Whip

Misses:
Mill Creek Botanicals Biotin Shampoo - Well, I'm not sure if this is a miss; it definitely left my hair squeaky clean, but it seems very drying...Idk. I would not use it as a shampoo on the regular, it seems more up the alley of something to clarify with. My hair said :nono: to this one.

Suave professionals Almond & shea- Before I'd used some out of my sister's stash-2 different occasions and my hair loved it! This time? Not so much. I have no idea why. It definitely doesn't work in my water spray bottle because it suds my hair up (maybe I put too much conditioner in the water bottle?).

@MaraWithLove

You might like as far as consistency:

Marie Dean Amala Hair Creme
Marie Dean Henna Hair Creme
Marie Dean Honey & Soy Hair Creme
Marie Dean Vanilla & Lemon Souffle Hair Creme
Marie Dean Yogurt Smoothie

IDareT'sHair That's a great thing, it's really good to be able to say all that, because it doesn't always happen that way. :yep: Thanks for sharing this info with me! I was definitely pleased with my first purchase with them. I, too, like everything I've tried so far! :)

@choctaw

I haven't bought 1 Hair Product in 2012.:look: I know it's just the 10th, but that's pretty good for me. Don't you think?

Imma really try to do this 6 month thing. For Real this time.:blush:

ETA::lol: You sooooo wrong.

Okay, but I'm curious to see which product will be your first 2012 purchase :yep:

choctaw Really Choctaw, Imma try to do this thing.:sad: My Stash looks real crazy. So, Imma do this.:yep:

I'm also making up a nice box for a Young Lady in the Military. So, I'm sending her some things soon. *I have quite a few duplicates*

I said my 1st purchase might be b.a.s.k. (it's been getting some pretty good reviews). But I'm not sure?:perplexed

:look:disclaimer: Now I did say if AveYou has a Groupon, I would be buying one (or two).

But other than that, I'm 10 days in and so far don't feel the Spurrrrrt all Up in these here Fangas' *yet*:lol:

IDareT'sHair

That is very generous of you to share your products with a female soldier. It can be difficult for them to obtain black hair care products. I know she will love your selection.

I try to KISS and focus on the ingredients that work for my hair. I stock oils and herbs and rotate shampoo & conditioners.

Some ingredients have long-term benefits with regular use ... but it is all going down the drain :lachen: ...

IDareT'sHair Thats wonderful what you are doing for the young lady...

*I give my extras to struggling collage students & sometimes put a nice box together for the Women's shelter...

Happy Hair Growing!

A re-visit hit is the giovanni direct leave in (old formula) I bought it maybe in 2010 (still good) from massage warehouse. I stopped using it in favor for brbc as my midweek moisturizer (right now it is not working for me anymore:sad:). I applied the direct leave-in and instantly my cornrows felt so soft and moisturized.

Another re-visit: AOGPB. My hair loves this conditioner by itself or mixed w/ other conditioners. Leaves my hair moisturized and strong.

Another hit: grapeseed oil. My hair respons better to this oil better than olive oil.

Honorable mention: cassia treatments. Done it twice so far-once w/ just honey and olive oil and other time w/ brahami, maka along w/ honey and olive oil and my hair responded better w/ those powders mixed in. I just bought some cassia treatment that has extra powders mixed in from ayurnatural.com (fast shipping) and hopefully this will turn into a hit.

Miss: argan oil from candem grey...leaves my hair dry. The argan oil from lotioncrafters is so much better but more expensive. I'm going to use it up mixed in my dc or cassia treatments and never buy again.

IDareT'sHair that is amazing what your doing for her, but you are amazing anyway no shocker ;) :kiss2:

Great job on going 10 days with no purchase, that is a big step :)
