I bought 2 packs of hair but I thought I bought #2. I accidentally picked up #4 and I didn't realize it until I looked in the mirror when I was already half way through.

Anyways I went and got a rinse so I will try to blend the little of my hair I left out.

I will also add a couple more tracks to make it fuller.
A couple pics after I was done last night.

I like it! Very realistic! I think a realistic install looks much better than 3 lbs of silky hair. I see that way too much.

so y'all don't think I need to add more tracks? I didn't even use a full pack in my hair.
The hair is 8". I didn't want to go too much longer than my own hair.

It looks very realistic, can you post pics of the back? that way you can really tell if you need some extra, but from this angle it looks good.

This is the back... I was too lazy to do the rinse today :perplexed

I would just trim it in the back and not worry about adding more tracks. It looks really good now. Too much hair looks unrealistic.

i say add two more tracks in the middle. when the hair gets even just a tad oily (unperceptable oiliness) it will flatten out. as u sleep it will flatten out and you don't want those cornrow humps to show. also just two more tracks will smooth out the cut and you won't even need to trim. it'll look naturally layered instead of choppy/rigid. you did a FANTASTIC job though. u make me wanna try too :)

aww thanks! I got compliments at work today.
I get what you're saying about the cornrow humps... yikes!! I'll see how I can make it better when I get home... I really only used half of the pack...

I added more tracks and I'm very happy with the results. I think I can work with this for a month.

May I ask how much you spent on the hair? And what length you brought? it looks very good!

And to double check, is a sew in the same as a weave? Were you cornrow your hair and then use a net and add hair? (I'm a newbie @ this hair stuff lol)

Yep a sew in is a weave. I cornrowed my hair horizontally and I left a little hair out at the front and I left out my edges. I didn't use a net.

I bought really cheap hair.. $16.00 a pack. Janet Mink Yaki ... 8"
