I buy from chinese vendors and the style I prefer is full sew-in w/ a lace or silk closure.

I just purchased Halley's Curls Gentle Wave. This is my first time buying from an online vendor. I paid $342 for 2 bundles and a closure.

I plan on weaving my hair for the full year.

Prior to this purchase I used Milky Way Loose Deep and it shed and tangled.

Check out the Ediese Weave thread. It may help.

why?

I like Outre Jerry Curl. It's super cheap like, $7.99-$9.99 and looks amazing once it's been fluffed out and separated. It's also very soft and blends well with natural hair.

Well from my experience it seems that the threads never really take off, mostly only a few chime in.

bronzebomb I was thinking of trying the same thing, with maybe a break sometime during the summer. I got Halley's Curl Salon Relaxed, and I hope to be able to re-use it a few times. The ladies on BHM have me worried, though, because they all talk about how the quality has greatly decreased. I guess I'll find out after my install next month how it really wears.

I currently use Remi Goddess straight and I'm hating it. The hair is all over the house, it's knotty and everyday I get a comb-full.

I'm desperate to hear if there are any suggestions out there of a better grade of hair.

I can't say that its my fave, but its the only brand working for me right now.... Hair esthetic cuticle kinky straight, on sale it costs about $80 for a 12" and some times it can be reused. When I first started ordering, I could reuse the hair for an entire year, now I'm lucky to get 6 weeks out of it. It tangles and mats and loses its color quick. It's a damn shame bc that hair was truly great about 2.5 years ago.

I just installed my HC GRW. I DO NOT recommend it. Especially for the price. I've only had it in about 4 days and it's shedding and tangling. I didn't seal it or give it a bleach bath. I'm now looking at buying some Shengori Shells.

I'm still kind of a weave newbie, but right now I have Bobbi Boss ocean wave in and LOVE IT! As far as non BSS hair, I'm still doing research on CVs and in the meantime ordered some Yaya hair. It looks really pretty straight out of the pack and I can't wait to wash and install. I think I paid $200 including shipping.

I wanted HC's kinky curly hair (creole curly I think) bc it matches my hair so well but the bhm reviews aren't good:( I'm thinking of trying AAMH'S KC for my winter style. I have EPRST in right now but since I'm natural now it's too silky for me. I've had it for over a year and installed abt 5x. I loved this hair and still do and I highly recommended.

Always and forever will be Extensions Plus Relaxed Texture.Price: very expensive, but has lasted me.

This is y choice. It's my all time favorite. I have had some of it over two years and it still looks brand new. I recently put it on a wig cap to make sure it lasts even longer.

I personally hated Shenghori Shells, i ordered their "natural" texture and it was so synthetic feeling/acting and shed all over the place. The wefts were so sparse that i needed about 12 tracks of this stuff so my tracks wouldnt be visible instead of my usual 8-9.

Wow. Thanks for this review. My sister was looking at a cheaper alternative to EPRT

Halleys curls relaxed texture is nice. Last through a few installs too.

I personally love extensions plus zig zag hair and relaxed texture.

I also have been wearing wagmans hand tied Indian hair for the last year. Two batches and I have had minimal shedding and they both have been reused several times and still look like new.

Thanks! I'll look past that as well. My next weave was going to be a short bob. Sorry I can't fathom paying the EP price for that. I believe the shortest one I saw was 12 inches and I would have to cut it. I wanted to cry when I needed to cut the HC

I used a vendor from aliexpress.com I got it installed today and like it so far! 4 bundles of 18" for $180. I only used 2 bundles so I hope to use this hair for 6 mnts and then the other 2 bundles for 6 mths.

Halley's Curls "Miami Ripple" is a must for me.

I usually wear it for 3 months twice for that year...and I spend about $200 something for it.

I love indiquehair.com pure curly. This hair is the bomb its so nice and soft flat irons so nice and natural and curls right back to its original texture once you wash it.I got it in may and I've had 3 installs and now I made a u shaped wig with it.

In the past I used Remi Velvet human hair (relaxed or yaki..can't remember). 60-75 a pack. When you first wear it,.. its great, but real soon it starts to shed galore and gets HORRIBLE tangles in the back.

I currently wear Bobbi Boss IndiRemi. 70-90 a pack. great stuff,... does not shed even if you pull hard, the color and shine is great,.. looks very real and only mildly tangles in the last track of the back. nothing major. I know people who wash and reuse and it still looks great. i haven't,.. but i will the next time around. I've used it as a full head with leave out (relaxed hair and flat ironed natural hair) and it blended very well. I currently am wearing it sewn in with a bang closure made of bobbi boss hair.

way back i've used milky way, glued in tracks mixed with relaxed hair. the color was very flat and tawny and it looked less real/healthy. I wouldn't reccomend a full head with that stuff. but added tracks for a 3 week style is acceptable. 30-45/pack

There is a new brand Cuticle Remy XQ. I haven't worn it but my friend did and she hates it. I checked it out at the hair store and it is very bulky and bushy. The wefts are stiched looser than Bobbi boss which is why my friend probably experienced all that shedding.

My next purchase will be Extensions Plus.

Thanks for your post. I was looking for some quality hair to purchase for my. Next install of tree braids.

Right now im wearing Chinese lite yaki from a CV. Ive used Senghori Shells natural rythms twice. The first time the hair was silkier than I preferred and the vendor offered to refund me or discount my next purchase. Since I complained after having used the hair I took the discount on a closure. Then I bought another batch of hair. Was going to make another purchase but opted to go the CV route.
