OMG this site has me like an addict shaking on the corner.

I have a $5 off coupon for Sally's too?! You know I already have my car keys in hand ready to go. LOL. One question though. How is it for protein sensitive hair? Things like raw shea butter and Cholesterol make my hair dry and hard but the Shea Moisture line works wonders. Let me know ladies and I'll be out the door. :)

EbonyCPrincess Girl, they actually sent somebody at the store to watch me while I looked at the actual Kerastase. I know that YT girl was thinking "She know she can't afford to spend $60 on this conditioner with two kids on her hip". I did the same thing you did and walked over to Paul Mitchell and got the Awaphui Intensive treatment for 15% off.

My hair behaves in the same manner-hates shea butter and Cholestorol. The restorative treatment works wonders for my hair and makes detangling a breeze with little to no loss or hair. You just can't beat this quality of a conditioner for $5. So girl get in your car and go! Hurry, fast, don't even read the rest of this post!:lachen:

I've never heard of these products. Is this a new line from Sally's? Are they supposed to be comparable to another brand like many other Sally's brands?

Im curious after reading the questions/responses.... off to Sallys tomorrow morning to see what I can get :look:

Hi @Supergirl! This is a a brand exclusively of Sally's. They created a generic version of a very expensive brand (Kerastase). Sally's calls it Kerapro. They did a really good job here though. Usually a jar of the restorative treatment is about $12, but that is only 5 ounces. If you have long hair, that is at most two treatments. Every couple of months, they put it on sale and it is a steal at $5. The conditioner is so good, that I actually would pay the $12, but don't tell.:look: I believe this is very comparable to the original (but I've never tried the original).

Not to brag or anything, but I bought 3 $10 off $30 Sally's coupons from ebay for $3 :look:. I was saving at least 2 for the Silk Elements MegaSilk $6.99 price. I ended up running today to get the shampoo and restorative, but now I don't want to wash my hair until I go back and get the elixir tomorrow

Does anybody know how the restorative compares to SE MegaSilk? Or how about AO GPB? I'm relaxed with lye and my hair doesn't like more than a light-medium protein every 2 weeks. TIA!

Thanks tdwillis

I am not big on cones, but Kerastase makes this wonderful serum that is $30. It looks like the anti-frizz elixir (just looked on Sally's site) might be the jump off! :woot:

Totally awesome product. I purchased 6 KeraPro, so with the 7 I already have, I'm go to go for awhile. I also have 2 of the Elixer, 2 poo's and 4 conditioners. I did purchased the Keratease just to see how it compares, but I haven't tried it yet.

:roadrunner: to sallys after reading this post at work today :lachen: i am dcing under the dryer as we speak prepping my hair for the weave challenge! I would NOT pay 60 bucks for the original kerastase although i thought about it :look: not not when i can get a tub of keracare humecto! i bought the mask and the elixir so if all goes well off to but two to four more tomorrow:look:

i do not live close to a sallys! i wish i did/ buying it online doesnt make it worth the sales price from the taxes and shipping. i do not mind paying full price for the elixir. it is the best serum i have tried.

I agree, and I am pretty much an anti-sulfate poo girl too. but if you are using the elixir, remember it is cone heavy so sulfates are necessary at some point to prevent build up. And seriously I know we are all talkin about the conditioner and serum - but the shampoo is the BIZ-NESS too. Hair feels extremely clean, not stipped and surprisingly smooth after one wash. Not saying you should get it but just saying its not like your typical sulfate shampoo!

i hate ya'll :nono:
 you LOVE us!

You have me beat! Roflmao! But iaintmadatcha!

@EbonyCPrincess I went back and got the shampoo. I've used it twice now and it does make the hair feel clean and smooth.

I find that shampoos with keratin leave a unique feel I can't quite put my finger on. This one reminds me of Silk Elements Kera Minerals Sulfate Free Shampoo, which is also very good. The one edge that KeraPro's shampoo has for me is that its sulfates can clean the Silk Remedy (chi silk infusion) from my hair properly. I'll definitely use it again :yep:

Raspberry - AHHHHH the Keratin! Good point! Glad you had the same experience with the shampoo that I did. I agree about cleaning the -cones, since I've switched to the Kerapro regimen completely (shampoo, DC, and serum) I feel its necessary to have them and love that this one seems moisturizing enough to use weekly. I would HATE to have to chart how frequently I clarify. :nono: I get lazy about stuff like that, which is surprising considering how much I do to my hair! lmao!

I've been home for vacay and didn't bring any products since my mom has a lot I can use, that I actually like (i.e. ORS Pak) but I do miss my Kerapro!
