So I used the KeraPRO Restorative Intense Treatment this morning and was very impressed :)

I clarified with a sulfate shampoo first, applied the condish, put on a plastic cap then finished up in the shower. I didn't add oil or anything but my hair felt awesome while rinsing and detangled easily after t-shirt drying. My hair felt very moisturized before I put in my normal leave-ins.

I don't remember the last time a conditioner on its own moisturized my hair as good as this, especially since I used a sulfate 'poo first.

Will definitely use KeraPro again :yep::yep:

I so love the KeraPro. The shampoo actually starts the detangling for me. That deep conditioner has pretty much replaced all of my other condish.

Every couple of months they put it on 2/$10 and I go stock up. I'm afraid for them to ever discontinue it. The sale usually lasts for the whole month.

This an important point, thanks for giving me an excuse to stock up  Yep, the sale lasts the whole month.

I love it. When I start to feel brillo-ish the treatment for dry to extra dry hooks it right on up. :yep: And I like the way it smells. I just wish it came in a bigger container. *sigh*

Same here, but thankfully it seemed fairly concentrated, didn't take much to saturate my whole head.

Aww hell, my interest is piqued...

And I was JUST bragging about finding my HG products....

**I will NOT give in to my desires**

ETA: Is the restorative treatment more like a protein & moisture conditioner? Or is it a protein only? I notice that it has hydrolyzed keratin and rice protein at the very top of the ingredients list.

This is a great treatment. When it is on sale, I stock up too. I have almost bought every Sally's out of this stuff. It is my holy grail of deep conditioners. I hope they never discontinue it either.

It's def a nice mix of protein and moisture and makes ur hair feel super soft. And my hair is not a fan of protein.

Sent from my ADR6400L using ADR6400L

I'm afraid of this too, I know how Sally's does folks! :lachen:

Bought 4 conditioners, 2 shampoos and 2 elixirs. I'm completely in love with it! Here is a thread I did which compares the Kerapro to the Kerastase, from Nadege of Relaxed Hair Health. Also contains links to other reviews. I believe this will be my basic new regimen for 2012.

Oh, and I should mention that I have been very anti-sulfate shampoos since the start of my HHJ. This shampoo is surprisingly moisturizing although my hair feels super clean. Most of the comments so far are about the condish so I wanted to share.

EbonyCPrincess It was because of you and Nadege that I wanted KeraPro in the first place. Thanks for the PJ inspiration  Even better when it's a great product...

EbonyCPrincess. Thank you for that review in which you compared the two. I did end up going to a store in which they did sell the original Kerastase and I just could not bring my ATM card out of my wallet to pay $60 for 8oz. I do wonder about the difference between the two after both have been used as a deep conditioner on the hair. If Sally's is good, then Kerastase has to be really good?

Awww you are more than welcome! I was super excited and thankful when Nadege did the comparison because although I thought the Kerapro was excellent I still NEEDED to know how it held up against the Kerastase. I swear I slept a little better that night knowing they were comparable! :lachen:

Girl...you do not have to tell me. I literally stood in the dang salon staring at the conditioner, picking it up, putting it down, pretending to be looking at other things all while thinking if I could bring myself to purchase it! :look: Then, I just left without saying a word bc I was too embarrassed to have done all of that and NOT bought anything!!! Not that it isn't worth it, nor am I knocking those who do use Kerastase....its just that I aint got it like that *yet* (claiming it in advance! lol). I can totally relate to you still wanting to try it at least once just to KNOW for yourself!

So glad I have LHCF and blog friends to talk about this to. Nobody in my "real life" understood the inner turmoil I was going through with this! lmao! :lachen:

I have a 15% off coupon too so I am glad I didn't use it yet. I need to buy shears so I can start trimming. I will buy a few conditioners. Thanks Op

I'm so mad that I missed the free shipping sally's offered for 5 hours on the 14th. :( I'm still buying some kerapro though. lol. Has anyone used the KeraPRO Restorative Anti-Frizz Elixir yet? Any natural reviews?

I bought the ELixar and used it. IT IS THE BUSINESS. BUT BEWARE that stuff comes out too easy out the container. So a little just glazed through my 2 strands of hair!

I bought the Treatment today.

My hair is Protein hungry so that works :)
