This may not be a big deal to everyone..but it is to me! I'm a year and half natural (transitioned for two months) and I had a setback in July.I had no idea I could do it..until yesterday...this will be one of my PS.

So when did you rock your first pony as a natural?

Congrats! It's another milestone so it should be a big deal =) Particularly if you BC'd and got to the stage.

I could ponytail from the moment I started my journey, however, my next milestone would be a nice bun.

pictures! congrats, I have the same stats transitioned 6weeks, now 18months post BC, yet to get a ponytail..but almost there.

I did a happy dance and texted my hubby lol..I have a ways to go before I'm truly satisfied. HAPPY HAIR GROWING!
 
Believe me I know how you feel. It seemed like forever before I could pull my hair into a ponytail so Congrats!!
 
Ah yes, the joy of going from 'struggle' to 'pony'tail! CONGRATS. It took me a while because I have a big head;)
 
Congratz! During my first attempt at being natural, my first ponytail and my first bun were major milestones for my hair. I was so excited. Lol. I can't wait to get to that point again.
 
Congrats to you!! To answer your question, when I went natural I actually did a long transition and the milestone I was waiting for, before I BC'd, was having enough hair for a ponytail.

For me, it was because I'm not good at styling my hair. So I needed to be able to have a ponytail as a "security blanket." :lol:

Congrats on your first nub! Thats what I call them, they're so cute, like lil' nubs. Oh, and you must be new around here, its one of the top 5 rules. Must post pic!
 
I just recently discovered during the past couple of weeks that I can do a pony puff :-) Congrats on hitting that milestone!
