I know right lol? The Brazilians created the treatment and some of their treatments had up to 30% Formeldahyde. I guess they loved the results just like people love lye relaxers.

I am glad there are safer treatments that are equally effective!

I seriously ponder things like that bc....that just shows me exactly how careless about other's health ppl can really be.

I was thinking about trying a keratin treatment....but im scared now bc some companies simply use different words that mean the same thing in their ingredients lists when they've been busted.
And some dont even list all of their ingredients. So when it comes to a potentially highly toxic chemical to put in my hair like a keratin treatment i'll most likely pass.

I'd rather risk heat damage.

I am not advocating using formaldehyde keratin products but we need to stop pretending like formaldehyde is not already in many everyday products, including products for babies.

Maybe thats why there are SO many ppl being diadnosed with cancer!!
