omg! I may try this when my hair turns all grey! :grin:
ok, this is a forum called "for women of color" and she isn't a woman of color, but her hair is just so amazing that I just HAD to share this. my jaw dropped, she looks like a fairy!

beautiful. I would do that when i get older, instead of intensely fighting the grays with color like my mom does
 
My grandmother had that same hair color a few years back. She always dyed her her black since the age of 13 (she went grey at that age). Well, a few years ago she thought she was too old to keep dying her hair black. She stopped getting those black rinses and her hair turned purple and grey/silver. It was the prettiest thing ever and looked natural some how. When I go grey, I will be putting some purple in it.
 
She looks absolutely beautiful with the hair. That is stunning and fits her perfectly. I wish i were so bold and was able to make something like that work.
 
I don't like this look. It looks really fake to me.:nono: Maybe because I actually have gray hair and dye it dark? I don't know. She likes it. I guess that is what counts.:lol:
 
My great grandma{hanging out with Granny at her Halsey Street Beauty salon was a weekly eye treat}and several of her church lady friends sported the lavender hair...I loved it and still do love to see it on a well coiffed head. I was determined to be a lavlady or a silver vixen until I discovered how beautiful and healthy my hair is with henna..now my silver is all red and gold:grin:.
 
I think that is so pretty. It's this girl at my school and for the life of me I cant figure out if she dyed it that way or if she's gray. I dont want to ask. :/
