How my 4b hair feels about both Qhemet and Darcy Botanicals:

Both! I use Qhemet to keep my hair moisturized and Darcy's for styling!

I agree somewhat, I also use QB for moisture (AOHC, BRBC and cocotree detangling ghee) and use Darcys for styling (culring gel, twisting creams)

BUT if I had to choose one over the other it would be Qhemet:lick:

Darcy's Botanicals - Pumpkin Seed Conditioner
Qhemet's - Amla and Olive Heavy Cream, Burdock Root Butter Cream, Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee

Apples & Oranges

Both are Great and both lines have different types of products and are very different.

I like them both.

I'd probably use DB is the Spring/Summer and QB in Fall/Winter because of the Weight

IDareT'sHair, I am looking for a heavy moisturizer for the Fall/Winter and you mentioned using Qhemet Biologics during those months. I think the Amla and Olive Heave Cream has glycerin as well as the Burdock Root Butter. Have you had any issues with using them during the Fall/Winter? Also, how do you use them?

Love my Qhemet Biologics!
My favourites are Aethiopoka Hydrate & Twist Butter, Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee, Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee. For extra moisture, I love the Amla & Olive Heavy Cream and the Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm. I just need QB to come out with a deep conditioner and I really wouldn't have to use another line, ever. My hair is a type 4 mix.

Rozlewis

Haven't had a problem with any QB during Fall/Winter.

Have you tried Donna Marie's Super Buttercreme? MyHoneyChild's Buttery Soy? Or any Marie Dean?

IDareT'sHair, I ordered the QB Amla and Olive Heave Cream and Burdock Root. I also order the DM Super Butter Creme which just arrived yesterday so I have not tried them yet. I also have the MD Henna Butter. All of which I have not tried yet. I have not tried the MyHoneyChild's Buttery Soy yet. Out of all of them which do you prefer for sealing and helping to retain moisture during the winter months?

I am also curious as to what others use during he harsh winter months before I start experimenting.

I love QB for it's moisturizing properties, it worked great on my relaxed and natchal hair. Haven't tried the others but I'd be hard pressed to give up QB.

Depends on your hair texture. If you tend towards fine hair or your hair is easily weighed down, you might prefer Darcy's.

My vote goes to Darcy's (love love love the Coconut lemongrass Transitioning Creme)

I didn't like the QB Burdock root moisturizer

I like them both and have room for both in my Stash.

I've purchased Darcy's but have gotten my QB on Swaps with other Posters.
