Hey guys.

I have been using this product every since I started my journey 2 years ago.

Lately this product has made my hair feel weighed down, coated, and a tangled mess - Even after I clarify.

I feel the need to re-poo after using this product to lighten up the weight of this product.

I used to love this product and it has never felt like this before.

Anyone experiencing the same thing with this product?

Have you tried clarifying first?

MIght be time to switch it up. Most of the time when products dont work the same it's because of build up. Try clarifying. If that doesn't work, try switching for a few washes.

Yep, It used to feel more moisturizing but now it feels like a med/heavy protein treatment, which I like. Now I pre poo with it for about an hour, shampoo and then use a moisture DC. So far so good. I'll do that maybe once per month. I also do an Aphogee 2 Step every couple of months or as needed. My hair likes protein and I also cowash with moisture or balanced DC's pretty frequently.

It maybe protein build up. Use a protein free conditioner for a while.

Could your hair be getting healthier and it's not needed as often? That doesn't sound right

Have you moved during this time period? Could your water quality have changed?

my hair never liked that stuff. i would always end up with horrible feeling hair.
