This photo makes me think diameter should be an alternate hair measurement. Didn't we have an LHCFer describe her hair as "doorway width"? This lady's hair could easily span a MiniCooper side to side.

Digging her overall look, though.
 
I would not like it for me, but if she loves it, more power to her. If her hair is real, she got great retention skills.:yep:
 
just wow lol......i doubt if thats a wig....it just couldnt be, if it is thats a huge wig lol.
 
My 'fro just screamed in a jealous tantrum! Wow. Her neck must be strong. She must be at least KL (kneecap length) if she straightens it. She also has the best sunscreen. I discovered this summer that my face did not tan because my 'fro was picked out, LOL.

It's gotta be real because she has the tell-tale tail in the back...whoo that was a tounge twister. I know many of use have that looser texture in the backe which often hangs down in a mullet form or like a tai.

Yes it's French and this pic was took in Paris, this lady lives behind my friend''s house in a close suburb of Paris.
she stats it's her hair, but I don't trust her because seriously :
Summer in Paris are badly hot, and DAMN SO HUMID and she doesn't experimentate shrinkage? please, the natural hair community in france is becoming huge, and with this humidity, we, our big *** afros can become a twa in less than one day.
and you can not have knee length hair without protective styling... and she wears "it" 365 days/year !

by the way, here in the afro-french natural hair community, we have some hair idol, like inna modja and fatou ndaye, Inna modja is an artist and she often wear a protective style(weaves/wig) as shes often on stage,
even your US hair idols like Lala, Mwedzi and Sera, cipriana, they are always in ps. so that's why I don't think it's her real hair.

And is it possible that this is the same woman everyone in NY is mentioning and thinking about, but that she could just be over in France on vacay or business? With a fro like that, shes gotta have some connections and must be making moves!

Can your friend that lives near her ask her some hair questions? :look: ...like how she maintains her hair and did she blowdry her hair out to get it that big in the picture? :)

This picture looks like it was taken somewhere in Europe. Maybe France or Belgium, judging by the lisence plates..

That doesn't mean she cant travel...maybe she is a NYer but was traveling or living temporary in EU.

greenandchic - I was in Paris for a week and a half back in May 2006. It was rather cold and windy when I was there. So this picture may have been taken during a colder season.
 
I sawwy, its not wearable or attractive to me...looks a bit ashy as well.
The Aevin lady's looks well moisturized and even stylish.
 
If my hair was like that I'd pick it out once, snap a picture, post said picture on LHCF, and then protective style for the rest of my life!
