Ordered: Aug 19
Update Email: Aug 28th saying my order will be shipped this week

Today is Saturday and I don't even has as much as a shipping confirmation e-mail.

5-7 days huh? I'm gonna need that shipping policy to be updated. If accurately stated the 20+ days that it actually is taking, maybe I won't be tripping, but it doesn't so I am.

I purchased the PhD, the Aloe Flax Gel, and the Juicy Leave-in. Was it worth it?

Yes, yes it was. :yep: I can assure you that it takes a lot for me to say that about a hair care line. :yep: This is one of the best lines I've ever used, and I've tried a lot. HTH.

Coffee - did u get an email w/ tracking? and u ordered during the bogo?

I'm very disappointed in the length of time this is all taking and the misleading customer service.

I wonder is the price going up seen this on FB today

I don't think I will order again. I got my order confirmation from paypal that both orders will be shipped together but the cost for shipping is still the same as if the orders shipped separately. These orders were ordered 1 week after the other but they are both shipping together.. I know all companies aren't the same but when I order products from other companies and I end up getting both orders together they refund me a little something on the shipping..

Hello!!

Thank you to all who participated in the BOGO sale!! Though we have processed many orders, there are some we are still working on and I apologize for the delay and understand your frustration! Our items are handcrafted and it is taking more time then expected. The turnout on orders continues to blow my mind and this sale generated 6 times more orders than we expected! I understand how important shipping your items out on time is and I really want you to know that you will get your orders as quickly as physically possible. It is very likely that you will receive a confirmation number this week. In addition, your orders will contain a special coupon code as our way of saying thank you for your patience.

We are working out the kinks concerning shipping...though we have hired more staff, we are growing faster than we can keep up. Kind of a crazy blessing. We are confident that it will be worth the wait when you receive your Naturalista Cosmetics Box with your free gifts! Thank you to all of you we have reached out to that understand the delay. We appreciate your understanding and positive energy!!

Ok, Padrica, one of those orders was mine. I was getting anxious because I havent even received a "Your order is delayed" email. I've been waiting patiently and while I know you've got a lot on your shoulders right now, a simple email directed towards me and not a general statement would've made me feel alot more valued as a consumer. I'm still waiting to try these products this forum is gushing about. It's been 3 weeks for me without any notifications. I'l be glad to pm you if you need any additional info, but the thing is, your sales are backing you up.

Handle what you can because while this board is keeping you in demand, members are serious about quality, shipping time, and pricing. I want to support your company, but why should I hold you to a different standard than I would any other company especially if your continuing to drum up even more buisness by holding scheduled sales? Lawd, i just want my Juicy Leave-In and me free item!

Good response and politely put.

I'm sorry but, I have to say this...

On Etsy (which is where their store is) you have to restock items as they sell or you can put how many of a particular item you have instock to order.

So what is off to me is, if NC is backed up on orders, why do they keep adding more stock and restocking items.

Etsy makes it impossible to "oversell" or even get backed up on orders b/c as the item sells it is taken out of the store. The store owner has to manually add the item back into the store.

I have been watching this company b/c I wanted to try the leave-in spray and see if it would replace my Jane Carter Solution spray but, I don't feel right supporting them.

If you are backed up on orders then don't re-stock the item. Catch up on your orders and then make however bottles you can handle and then re-stock so you ship orders on time.

This is what any responsible business owner would do.

This. ALL OF THIS!! I had a bad experience with this company and I will not be ordering again. To top it all off my hair hated the juicy leave in.

I don't like the juicy leave in at all.. It's way too heavy and greasy. I will def hold out until I find someone I can give it to. I also don't like the smell at all :nono:

Lot's of seller's on Etsy wish to avoid the fees associated with listing multiples of an item, so it's never an accurate indicator of how much they really have instock. Even though I'm sure it costs the same to keep relisting it over and over again. At least this is some sellers logic. Not sure, I've always been turned off by Etsy.

And i agree, I think that sellers should list what they physically have mixed, labeled and ready to go.Its not like these are custom blended/scented items. If you offer different scents- make however many of that scent THEN list it, etc. But that's just MY humble opinion on how things should go.

She does list stock numbers, I think she had a sale and someone said she listed that she had 25 of that item. So, you would think it would get out on time, right? It didn't. :nono:

I would also think (I have an Etsy shop as well) that if she was so behind on making products she wouldn't like more than she could handle.

She keeps saying they get more orders than they can keep up with but, it's b/c she keeps relisting items. It's impossible to oversell on Etsy unless you don't have what you're listing as available. Why would you do that, if you don't have it?

See why I'm scratching my head....

Just out of curiosity for those who didn't like the product (too heavy/greasy) What is your hair type? And what styles were you using it for(twistouts, PS etc)? I know every product works different for everyone, but for the most part people with similar hair types tend to have similar product experiences.

How long does it take to whip up a butter, A detangler or gel if you have a set recipe???

I didn't like the products, but it's only bcause my hair hates products with shea butter or aloe in them. I just wanted to try these.

As soon as i felt how much shea btter was in them, I knew that I wouldn't like them.

I have them up for sale in the product exchange forum.

I'm sure she has a third party company create the products for her. That's what most of these online hair companies do. They don't create anything at all in their kitchen, which is fine with me because its cleaner that way and the product would be more consistent.

Not long. To make a master batch, it shouldn't take more than an hour to whip up products. Whipping shea butter literally takes like 15 mins.

Her ingredients are so simple I doubt it. I also saw a picture WestNDbeauty posted on her blog and they definitely looked homemade...

Usually base butters look smooth and creamy, like lotions in a jar.

She was on the news from my understanding showing the news people how she whipped up her products using her hand mixer.

They mix that stuff up themselves....blenders out and everything!:yep:

Exactly!!! And why would you need to hire so many more people if you had an external vendor mixing up your product. One of the purposes of outsourcing is to lower your internal headcount.

She needs to get it together. Charging all that money just to give people your assparagus to kiss in poor customer service.
