Im sure this question has been asked before but I cant find it...

I need SOMETHING for my ends.. just something. I have done some research and I think my current aloe mix leave in is just not giving the moisture I need.

I plan on going on a hunt for a good leave in for my ends but the ones that are being suggested are MIA in my area.

What are you using and where can I find it!?

Claudie Ends Insurance #1 or #2. Hairveda Whipped Ends Hydration. Hairitage Hydrations Avocado Cloud or Mango Cloud.

Is Shea Moisture sold in your area?

If so, the Restorative Conditioner is awesome as a leave-in and for cowashes.

Also, Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship is good. Gives looots of slip and it smells yummy. This and Shea Moisture can be found at Walgreens.

And of course you could always use your favorite conditioner as a leave-in, as well as a regla old moisturizer. :yep:

I like using regular conditioner as my leave in, and then sealing with VCO or Grapeseed oil. Keeps my hair soft and moisturized.

yes they sell shea moisture at walmart. Are you talking about the one that comes in a tub..? if so me no likey! it makes my ends a funky texture.

They dont sell long term relationship leave in at any walmart within 50 miles.. just the reg conditioner and shampoo :ohwell:. I have heard so many good things about long term relationship.. are you talking about the leave in condish or just the conditioner itself?

Thanks for the info!

I couldn't find a leave-in that would fit all my requirements which were: all natural ingredients, no proteins, and no waxes. So I made my own using 5 parts water and 1 part AO HSR conditioner. I shake it up in a spray bottle and leave it in the fridge.

My ends are never dry anymore. (My ends used to be bone dry!) Even when I start slacking and skip my daily moisture for 5 days, my ends still feel soft.

I love the LTR leave in by Herbal Essence. I'm never able to find it at Walmart either, only at Target. I usually buy two bottles at a time because I don't shop at Target often.

Not the one in the tub, this baby comes in a bottle. :lick:

About the LTR leave-in, I'm referring to the actual leave-in and not the conditioner. It sucks that your Walmart doesn't carry it. :( Have you checked your local Walgreens and CVS? They also carry Herbal Essences and I always find the leave-in there.

wow im dumb. im thinking of cantu shea. I like shea moisture but have yet to try their conditioner.

how often do you use it?? and do you apply to whole strand or just ends?

Daily. I apply it concentrating on my ends and length of hair and then I apply my oil of choice on top to seal. I usually use the Proclaim olive oil blend from Sally's to seal. I'm currently transitioning, but so far my natural roots agree with the leave in. My relaxed hair loves it.

The LTR leave in also works really well with Sally's One N' Only Argan Oil. The first time I used the combo together I was really suprised at how smooth and moisturized my ends were after airdrying.

@ the bolded!! I ordered Hairveda's Whipped Creme Ends Hydration a few weeks ago with the Whipped Gelly from the sale ($10 and change for the both of them). The Whipped Ends is the BEST LEAVE-IN I'VE USED!! I put it on top of my KimmayTube leave-in (which never keeps my hair moisturized), put a bit of the whipped gelly on top of the whipped ends and :lick: OH MY GOODNESS!! My hair air dried so soft and my curls were so defined!!

I also use the Whipped Creme Ends Hydration on my dry hair as a moisturizer and it works wonderfully as well!!

I just ordered (3) more of the combo packs from Hairveda to take advantage of the sale before it ends.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE WHIPPED CREME ENDS HYDRATION!! :yep:

Finding staple products can be an exasperatingly slow and convoluted process. However, before you begin sampling products, I believe that it would be beneficial to make a list of the ingredients/additives that your hair likes and dislikes, and use that as a compass toward locating the most effective product(s) to suit your purpose (e.g., my hair hates shea butter, loves most oils, and can tolerate small doses of glycerin).

Start with the ingredients then branch out so that you’re not testing 5,298 different products.

I love Giovanni Direct Leave in I bought my off of amazon but they have it at iherb and a liter size bottle at massagewarehouse.com for $17 and some change and that includes shipping :)

its not a bad price so I may have to try again.. PLUS target will return anything

I like the Gvp version of the redken anti snap leave in (at sallys) for my ends. I use that along with GVP chi silk infusion.

Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using HTC Sensation 4G

What is that? can you find a link to what is may look like?

I'm also looking for the something that has all natural ingredients, no proteins, and no waxes.
