I like to sit back and see what reviews/results the product gets/give. So many ppl are coming up with crap in a bottle to make a profit and I don't want to possibly support that.

Nope. I am a recovering PJ, so I'm sticking with the companies that I've tried and loved for years. :)

At this point no. Not much is giving me the oh I have got to have this right here...like last week feeling.

I absolutely hate the idea of having to order some hair products online because you can't get them on the ground, and only just recently made an online purchase because I was ordering something for my skin (that could only be found online) and I figured, what the heck. I prefer brick and mortar stores, so whether it is a new business or and old/familiar business, I'll pass.

No one is coming out with anything spectacular. You gotta make something that is cost prohibitive for me to make myself. I want active rich products not some shea butter whipped up with a bit of this or a bit of that, some chemical fragrance and a $20 + shipping price tag. I can do that myself.

Vendors gotta step their game up if they want my money -

It would take a lot for me to do it again (I still curl up into the fetal position at the thought of that Tiiva oil).

NO.
i refuse to. as ive stated before, if its not oyin, curl junkie, or stuff i can get on the ground(AO, carols daughter ect.) then im not buying.

nope i have my staples thus far......komaza, oyin and aubrey's do me right. i get my pj fix from taking products that don't work for some of our cousins when we have meetups.

no...even before this, i didnt by from "new" companies, and the one that i was going to buy from soon, negative reviews started popping up, so i just left it alone...the online companies i've purchased from weren't even new, but i still was hesitant about buying even after reviews...i hate paying for shipping, and i dont like the idea that i cant smell the product or see the consistency or take it back if i dont like it...

As long as I like the product, why not. I'm not that scary. Just make sure that your transaction is protected by somebody and that the whole process is over a secured network and you should be okay.

I am actually thinking about starting a product line (NOT HAIR STUFF YALL) and I think that this whole experience will make me a better business owner if anything. As far as me buying from new companies...of course I will...every business starts new. I am willing to give people a chance...and I have been with PayPal for 7 years. and my bank is cool too so Im good. Most shopping has shifted online. Im going with statistics...

Even though most people voted "no" I am still going to follow my dreams. I love natural skin care stuff...

Yes I will. I've been buying things online without incident for YEARS! No reason to stop now. I purchase using paypal and credit cards and will continue to do so. (fingers crossed)

i'm not saying i wont buy online, but i'm definitely not purchasing anything from some fly by night company that hasn't been around for at least a year...

I will definitely continue to shop online. My mom always says, "One monkey don't stop no show." If I can go give Sally's my money with crappy customer service, I can support my brothers and sisters (within reason.)

I was around when alot of the "now reliables" were just getting off of the ground. What would have happened if no one bought from them because of a few folks' bad business practices? There are some EXCELLENT products and companies out there with great customer service and they all had to start somewhere.

There's nothing wrong with e-commerce. Just cover your buns and your purchases by paying via PayPal or CC only.

Not for a minute.

I'm an avid online shopper but unfortunately when it comes to small businesses, new or old, there's just some issues with time you have to wait, customer service, and the 'if' of whether the product will even work that exhausted me last year. I ended up going back to major brands which had the customer service and quick delivery time I adore ( if something just won't work I'd like to know in a week not 25 days after placing my order).

I am definitely keeping my door open to support a new small business, especially if they gain a great reputation but not right off the bat. No.

Yep, even with some of the bad experiences I've had, I'm going to continue to shop online. I do it, mainly, with my credit card, and I'm okay with that
I've found some great stuff online, that I am not finding on the ground. I don't have a problem with a shipping fee. I find what I need and I'm happy.

I will buy online often but it is important for the business to have 1)Paypal 2) shipping costs that don't exceed the price of the product. I don't like when people are slick and include the profit in the shipping. 3) good reviews on LHCF. At this stage I don't buy stuff all willy nilly. I can't play with my money like that.

With as many folks that hate blacks but love our money you damn right I'm going to buy from black owned business. Of course I'm smart about it and do my research and wait to see how things pan out with new business, cause just cause we're all in this together doesn't make me automatically patronize you but still. I ain't scurred.

With that being said...if I ordered from a company and had a good transaction I'll order again.

I voted "Kanye Shrug" because I liked that option. I will purchase from small online businesses as long as I feel comfortable doing so and if they take paypal. I'm not really scared about them getting me for my money. I go hard as hard as it gets. All this little kid stuff y'all saw for MTM and SF ain't much. I will bring down the house all by myself. I will slang a name through the mud & get a refund willingly/unwillingly. AHeadOfCoils gets ignant bout hah muh-nee.
