I went to her youtube page and the girl has 80k+ subbies!! :whoa: I haven't seen anyone (relaxed or natural) with this many. It won't be too long ( I give it to the end of this year) that homegirl will have 100k subbies!

Andrea's Choice (whatever her screen name is) has over 350,000 subscribers.

Never heard of this Youtuber. I'll have to check her out.

I know that Kimmaytube has 60,000+ subscribers

ETA: OK I've Andrea's Choice before, just didn't know her YT name. She's very pretty.

@Bubblingbrownshuga hubba bubba @ ur hair :lick:

oh and andreachoice on youtube isnt black is she ? --- she purty though and shes a twin also:yep:

If her parent's told her otherwise, they need to stop lying :lachen:

Love her tutorials.

I think she said she is mixed with black and white. All I know if I want that hair and style from this video: Quick Tip ♡ Natural Looking Summer Curls!

DANG!!! THATs paper right there
With that many subscribers Youtube has to be her job. Make that money, honey! lol

Well, I look at Ateeya differently than Andrea.

Ateeya has a fan base that's majority black. Andrea has various (looks like mainly white people) who view her videos. She has the look many people can relate to so her audience will be wider.

Oh, I thought you just wanted to know which black woman might have the most subscribers not the stats of their audience. If you want to know which black woman has the largest black audience then I have no idea.

Andrea is mixed with Swedish, Ethiopian and Puerto Rican she states on her channel and various videos. From her videos she seems to embrace her different ethnicities. She also has some videos about her haircare etc.

She may. She was one of the first. I like her videos, she has a really cute personality. There are a ton of other great youtubers now too.

I need to get up on some of that yt money...but what would I talk about that hasn't already been discussed? :look: I just might lack creativity. Divachyk subbies would = 0.

U could tackle how to be a diva?
Be a love counselor?
Make a channel dedicated to being on forums and what goes on?
Cooking?
Something you do that people don't commonly do well maybe you're a rapper, poet, scrapbooker?
Also we don't have enough black ladies with channels that are consistent dedicated to fitness and health.
Find what you love and teach others to love it.
You could even make a channel about a struggle you've had or a triumph.
Give people the motivation to overcome it.
Just some ideas I'd probably do if I wasn't shy lol
You don't have to reinvent the wheel (talk about what hasn't been talked about) just make it keep spinnin (put ya own flare on it)

shoooo, there's still not enough black women w/ long hair in the world. any cute woman w/ long hair can still make a go at it on yt and still amass a huge following i think. i think to make bank the videos have to be more polished and the gurus have to be better looking than if you were starting out a few years ago but the hair market is by no means saturated. it's still just getting started :yep: definitely not mature yet. people are still very hungry for knowledge and hair porn.

i do agree w/ the bolded tho. black women promoting fitness, health, particularly w/ a focus on areas not heavily discussed in typical black circles (like yoga for heath, veganism, becoming a raw foodist etc) would be ripe.

exciting times.

Can you guys post the links of these people? lol

I've wanted to start a YouTube channel. Not only because of my hair and stuff but because I actually like making videos (I study film at school).
But I'm shy to show my face so I dunno how that is going to work.

I'd love to see a great one devoted to fitness, weight loss and/or healthy eating for AA women.

As for haircare....maybe something devoted to Tweens and teens to get then started on the right foot.

I remember when Ateeya first started out, she had only about 4 to 5,000 subbies, she has really grown. Kimmytube might be second. And to the poster who said Andreaschoice isn't black, she looks very "black" to me. You can spot her ethnic features a mile away. She's just bi-racial (half black, and white) and multi-ethnic (Swedish, Ethiopian and Puerto Rican). She just has a racially ambiguous look that appeals to all races.

BeautyCrush has 166,425 but she's half white :ohwell: and her hair is....ummmmm...well you judge :lachen:

yea...seems like Ateeya is making that $$$....can't wait to get on that level :spinning:
you would think with all that protective styling her hair would be WL by now...#imjustsaying:look:

Andreaschoice is biracial, but I originally subscribed to her for haircare years ago. She's probably my favorite YouTuber.

Ateeya is cool, but I'm not interested in wigs, etc. She's doing her thing, though.

I'll say it looks a wreck in every video.

she (BeautyCrush) made an install video and showed her hair and i was like :nono:
I would love her to join LHCF...i hate seeing girls with damaged hair that RELY on weaves like that's their only solution (to hide it behind a weave). I nicely commented that she should remember to take care of her hair while in a weave :o

^^ wowzers. why did i think that she was at least taking care of the hair underneath? you know how patriciat aka britpopprincess aka naturalhairgrowthshow keeps her hair in TOP shape even under the weaves.

^ Why is that so funny? There are plenty of women of all races with hair like that as well. It really doesnt matter what ethnicity you are if u dont take care of your hair is bound to look a hot mess...

*side rant*

Tired of the stereotype that mixed girls dont have to do anything to their hair but wash it for it to grow to the floor....MOST of us have to work just as hard to get desired lengths. Done with my hard work getting dismissed because im biracial...

I feel like a big dummie. I've always thought that long hair was her hair:blush:(talking about BeautyCrush).
Wow. How different she looks without the weave:blush:.

It was very obvious to me that beautycrush's hair wasn't her's. She cuts the to of her head of to hide the bad blending.
