I LOVE her hair!! I was watchin this video about 2 nites ago. I can't wait to get halfway to her length.

But in one of her video descriptions she said she was gonna cut it :(.
 
GORGE!! altho... i do tend to get more excited by hair that looks more like my own :look:

she appears to be super humble and really sweet tho. i watched her first video where she is just showing her hair and it was like :drool: :drool: i almost passed out.

the really really funny thing i found from watching this detangling vid and her initial vid is that she was getting all these unsolicited comments from random people about product to use and tools to buy. like: oh, you should just use Hello Hydration or why don't you get the tangle teaser(sp?) and etc. WHY would people who don't know this woman, who weren't asked anything, tell someone who is clearly doing fine growing hip-length hair what to do? how bizarre.

anyhoo, her hair is hot. i'd like more of a story behind her tho. hopefully that will come w/ time.

It seems a few youtubers are describing their hair as kinky. I thought kinky was 4a - b tiny tight curls?

:look: :lol: that was... actually not that helpful. hahahaha. normally i love the way she breaks things down but i'm a need some real life pictures or su'm. those diagrams are really not so helpful.

anyhoo... i personally think the tags used for dianey55's vids as well as the titles themselves are just to draw in more people. black extra long kinky/curly hair just gets more hits :look:

i don't know her so i might be talking crap but that's why i said upthread that i want to know more of her story... for now that's my opinion tho. cuz if i ordered a kinky-curly weave and i got her hair i'd be like "hold up, what the hell? where's the kink?! process this again!" :lol:

Rei What a helpful link! I've always wondered the difference myself. I have some O type curls (on the LOIS) scale and in my mind that's the very definition of curly but I'm mostly 4a. Now I realize, I have kinky curls, as opposed to a mixture of kinks and curls, if that makes sense. :lol: I still don't really know what coils are though. Is there a link to explain that difference? :drunk:
 
Her hair is pretty. She's good - I've got 1/10 of her hair in similar texture and I rarely wear it out. I[d love to see it in some twists and pretty updos.

nzeee I also think you have to factor in the extreme length of her hair. If she had a TWA, it would not appear as wavy without the weight of the hair dragging the kinks/curls down. I think a lot of YTers (for instance Kimmaytube) get people questioning their hair type when it is really long because it does not appear to be the texture they purport...but if you look at the photos from a few years ago, when they typed themselves, it generally looks tighter/more textured.

werd. that's why i'm all about getting more of a back-story from her tho (cuz it is definitely possible to have hair her length and still retain curly/kinky. w/out a reference point tho, who's to say, right?). anyhoo, i don't want to get into hair-typing. for real. i don't have enough information.

can't wait to find out more about her tho. she's intriguing and her hair's dreamy.
 
It is hair porn indeed. I just showed my BF the youtube clip and said I wanted my hair that long. He did not consider it hair porn. lol. He said it was too long which I can understand. I love the length but I wouldve added some layers for body.
