I saw a girl today with a cute style that I would like to do on myself. I took a pic but it's kinda far away and hard to see you can see the gist of the style but I don't want to post her pic even if I block her face.
The style:
Flat twists swooped around her like one would start from the top across to the other side of her head. They were small maybe like 15 of them. Then they all come together at the top leftish side of her head in like a twist out.

If you can understand that description please post pics u may have seen that look like this! Thanks

Nonie. Thanks! The style is very similar to this http://goodhairsalon.com/gallery/twists/# from the 2nd row on that site. The flat twists curve around like that and were about that size the only difference is they go all the way around to the bottom. The hair isn't loose in the back or along the side. Just that very top section that she has out. Now I need to find someone to do it and figure out how to maintain the loose part.

Nonie I am taking my hair out this week and will be wearing it out for 2 weeks. I am scared LOL reason being I haven't worn my hair out since my B.C. I work out a lot and work in an EXTREME conservative industry. I wanted to reveal more so in the fall but I have to take my weave out and am not going to get it redone until 7/27. May wig it buy want to do some trail and error while I have my hair out in preparation for the fall. I may create a thread but its so slow on here now a days.
OP sorry to highjack but I am also bumping for you. :drunk:

hair4romheaven getcha wig but do your trial and error over the weekend. IMO, if a twistout isn't made from uniform twists that are arranged in a way that hides the parts, then it doesn't look tidy but looks like uncombed hair just out of twists. So would not be office-worthy.

I am partial to combed out hair and had no qualms about showing up with a pulled back puff at the office. I knew it'd pass and it indeed got a lot of praise. And if you think about it, people feel "safer" in wigs because they look more like the hair they are used to, but also because they are "groomed". Even someone will wear a phony afro puff over their hair quicker that they will show their hair. Again because they feel they will be accepted quicker. So if you will do a twistout as your reveal style, it better look as good as a wig might (ie have well ordered waves) otherwise don't be surprised if folks give you funny looks.

Nonie I know right! LOL I don't work in an office. More like a forensic/death/Crime Scene/Court enviornment. Weird I know but I planned on wearing it out on the weekends, but with me working out I am bound for busted looking hair. LOL I need to trim I haven't trimmed since my BC with regualr scissors. I wanted reniece to trim me but then I have to wait til 7/27 before my install and I know my styles wont come out right as some of my ends don't curl even when I twist it. My hair is weird, I may have to make a thread for this once I take down for some advice.
Sorry OP Bumping for you again:spinning:
