I claim 3c/4a mix. Because it kinda has the traits of both.

it's the bottom layers of my hair. it is 4a ish to me. and it feels / looks/ behaves differently than the rest of my hair. now that it's not being weighed down with length it is acting even more different and shrinking way more than everywhere else.

Thanks for the input ladies. I guess maybe it's a slight mix of textures back/under there and I will just experiment with products and how I work with it.
